RB26DETT Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 best to measure and check your struts - you never know if a privious owner has swapped suspension from a different car in. i think the early 260Z (1974) are the same strut OD as the 240Z? Quote
BenZed Posted March 18, 2009 Author Posted March 18, 2009 I've looked into 55mm sleeves. Unfortunately they aren't possible with 65mm ID springs, we would have to go to 70mm ID, which starts to take away one of the advantages of a coilover setup (thinner spring OD). Quote
pauly_adams Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 we still looking at the same price, i was going to buy a set of lowed king and you posted this which excited me cheers pauly Quote
BenZed Posted March 21, 2009 Author Posted March 21, 2009 They would be the same price, but I'll only make these if enough people want them. Anyone who is serious about purchasing please PM me. If ten or more people contact me I'll have them made. Quote

limezed Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Hi Ben, Coilover kits arrived in Auckland yesterday. Fantastic, cheers for dropping them off to my supplier. Great service. Have you or any other's out there fitted these up yet? any issues or tips before I get cutting / welding. Quote
BenZed Posted April 14, 2009 Author Posted April 14, 2009 might want to PM Lurch about that, I think he is fitting a set Quote
C.A.R. Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 I won't be fitting my set for a little while yet. I believe however we'll be fitting the "Toecutter's" one's first... I don't envisage any issues BTW Ben I received my set. I'm quite impressed with the product. Thanks very much for all that! Quote
Toecutter Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Yep, hope to get mine in as soon as I find a suitable set of inserts. Will not try and do it until after the Grampians run just to be sure my car is running. Really happy with the coilovers and Ben's service is second to none. I'm off to France, Italy and the Croation coast for two months in Aug and Sept so gotta try and get them in by then. Sulio Quote
