  1. Hi Craig, You can include Chris and myself from Canberra. Thanks Simon
  2. I should be able to make it. Zed is in desperate need of a run to blow some of the cob webs out!
  3. And some more. If you would like a copy of the full size image, send me a msg and I'll send a copy.
  4. Hi Guys, Here are some pics I took over the weekend. A great weekend, even if some of use had a few dramas. Thankfully mine turned out to be a foul connection to my fuel pump...but my first thoughts were worse considering everyone elses experiences.
  5. Can we make it a bit later? The Telstra V8s are on and I don't want to miss seeing Holden on the podium!
  6. OK guys, we will meet at 9am at McDonalds Braddon (Cooyong Street, Braddon ACT, carpark Mort Street Braddon). See you there!
  7. Hi Guys, been a while since I've been on here last (I blame the kids and house)! Are we going to catch up before we head off to John Knight Park?
  8. Chris missed the best pick of the bunch. Who said racing is expensive, entry fee must have cost more!
  9. Last of the best...
  10. And more....
  11. What a great day! Couldn't ask for better weather and we encountered a nice surprise at Wakefield. Check out the pics.
  12. Hi Dallas, Congratulation on the Zed and it's great to see another Canberra member. If you haven't already seen the Crookwell run, hopefully we can arrange a catch up soon and we can compare notes. Simon.
  13. What a perfect day for a cruise in a Zed! See you at the Dickson carpark at 9:30am.
  14. Dust has been washed off the Z and tuned, so this Sunday two Zeds will be heading off to Crookwell for a cruise, weather permitting. If you haven't made any plans and would like to tag along, details are below. Destination: Crookwell Meeting Point: Carpark opposite McDonalds Dickson (on Anthill street) Meeting Time: 9:30am Sunday 22nd Departing Time: 10:00am Duration: Approx 4 hours return to Canberra If the plans change due to the weather, I'll post up the cancellation that morning. Fingers crossed the weather will hold out and we'll see a posse of Zeds! See ya there!
  15. Looking forward to seeing the video....if you would like a copy of the photos I took, PM me with you mail address and I'll burn them on to a CD for you. Omeo/Bright sounds good to me.
  16. last of the best...
  17. More pics...
  18. Thanks guys, the weather may have tried to dampen the spirit but to see a chain of Zeds snake along alpine way is always a worthy sight!
  19. Sorry Chris, it is Khancoban. Tom Groggin is a camp site several kays up from Khancoban on Alpine way. Pretty spot to camp, but we will want to meet the VIC guys at Khancoban.
  20. Thanks for the info guys. I'll punch out the small hole to match the block and head as it doesn't sound like it is there to generate any additonal pressure and more flow shouldn't hurt. Should I also punch out any additonal holes to match the block and head not in this new gasket? For example missing holes either side of the head bolts on the spark plug side (top of pic).
  21. Hi Zedders, Would someone be able to confirm if: a) Durapro (GSDJ380D) head gasket is the correct gasket for a L28 engine (F54 block with a P90 head). Pic below shows the difference between the old gasket which was fitted and the new one supplied by the workshop which reconditioned the head. They advised me the old one is a generic gasket and the new is a factory copy....is this correct? b) I should enlarge the water channel indicated with the arrow on the new gasket, as it is smaller than that of the block and the head? Thanks in advance for any advice which will mitigate any potential disasters before I bolt the new had down. Simon R
  22. Hi Scott, Been of the radar the last month or so....but I should still be able to make it with a little wrangling with the baby sitters (grandparents). Where is the ceremony and reception going to be? And what do you expect as far as clothing attire, neat casual or suit? Simon
  23. Thanks guys...the Zed and I really appreciated the opportunity to again get a few kays under the belt, even if the weather wasn't perfect. Start posting up a few suggestions for the next sprint! My suggestions is maybe a weekend drive down the south coast. This time of year you can get some cheap accommodation...the weather of course is a little less dependable.
  24. Looks like the weather may conspire against us....they are predicting a wet weekend. If you have a good plan B for wet weather, let me know. Regardless I'll see you at 9am tomorrow.
  25. Looking good Miika! But you can help Chris with his when he tempts to follow suit...it was enough fun and games last time. See you tomorrow!
