nedloh312 Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 I just bought mah Z It's Lurches red 2 + 2 (He's already had a go at me telling me I am dead if anything happens LOL!) and it arrives 20th march I will post the details but most of you will already know what is in it '74 260Z 2+2. All rust removed & re sprayed 12 months ago. I did the rust repairs myself using new panels, so there's no bog where I've repaired it. The interior is the poor point of the car & needs work - new headlining & a good tidy up. Mechanical's: L28, Mild cam, 240Z SU's, headers & 2" system. Rebuilt 260Z 5-speed. 3.9 ratio R180 Diff with a 'slip-limiter' fitted. Hilux/4Runner calipers & S13 rotors on the front & 280ZX Discs on the rear. Lowered on King springs & re-oiled factory dampers. 16x6.5 Alloys. There is no rust on the car (Mechanic check) and is in next to perfect condition. First thing i will do is a complete retrim (Black Leather) then a new paint job similar to the HPI 240z RC car http://www.hpiracing.com/kitinfo/100594/ and a full sound system which i will have to look at later hehe I can't upgrade the performance right now as am on my P's but it's easily got more power than i need as is hehe Will be a daily driver but plan on taking it up to eastern creek on the open track days Anyways, I will get some pics when i get it It's already booked in for a detail and clean (One of our clients is a detailer that comes to you (Got this van that litterally has over 10k$ worth of car cleaning stuff 160$ for a full detail, engine bay clean and vacume)) God this post makes no sense but i am too excited to care!! I have the best numberplate planned aswell but i don't have enough cash to buy it yet so when i get it i will tell you all so it doesn't get regged Quote

When the truck went by i almost shat myself haha, it looked sooo amazing on the back of the truck! I sprinted up the street and as I rounded the corner, there she was, sitting there, calling me. I was shaking so much i couldn't hold the camera properly! I was so amazed by the car that i was almost hit by a car because i was standing in the middle of the road! Anyways, i was cruising around and met a dude who's brother in law has one so we were chatting about them for a bit and when i got home, i went another way (The lionger way) haha and what did i see... A early Z, i didn't get a good look but i am sure it's a Z, gunna drop past tommorow and see what it is hehe So yer, the big block of text above is just me making no sense at all haha.
