Zedman240 sent a PM first, then Lurch posted, then Colin. So now that Zedman240 has confirmed he wanted the box I believe the right thing is to give it to him as he was first. I'm about 90% sure that's a 280ZX gearbox. I remember it was a pain to fill the oil in the gearbox with the exhaust in the way of the filler plug on the passenger side! Whereas the 260's are on the drivers side. Quote
dazzed Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 the add is for a 260z gearbox, i replied as sold to me , turned out the box was not a 260z is a 280zx box, Tim has 2 boxes, he thought they were both 260 boxes, the 260 box is a spare for his car, he is selling the car and the 260box is a spare if the buyer wants it, when i had determined it was a 280 box i didnt want it , i needed a 260 box, tim replied that if he decided to sell the 260 box separately i would be the first to know, considering i was the first to reply to his add , re; 260z 5 speed gearbox , so he has now advertised both the boxes for sale and i wasnt informed first, hey glen i didnt need to read the thread, because nobody knew this except tim and myself Quote

I had sent an email to Dazzed last week but he did not reply so I put it up for sale again. So following some phone calls its all sorted. Dazzed gets a 260Z box from Brisbane and Zedman240 a 280ZX box from Sydney. So there you go, every body happy, thanks Quote
