It might be faster (and cheaper) to get your dash re-skinned and console plastic welded. They can't get the grain for the dash texture perfectly but I'd prefer that than your own personal "Grand Canyon" on your dashboard. Dash removal takes around 30-40 mins (Have it down to an art) and installation is approx 3-4 hours. Stripping the dash takes about 1 hour. Just a thought!

Your not asking much !!! getting harder to find everyday hope your got a big bank balance.

keep a eye on ebay

Its a legitimate question to ask, but as you say you'll need some deep pockets. You can still get these items new from Japan, but depends on budget.

As Dimitri says above though, its probably easier to get your existing one reskinned. Also there is a mob out there http://www.dashboardrestorations.com.au/ who might be able to help with both.

I've got a spare console, was planning to hold onto it incase but make me a decent offer and I'll part with it, I'll have a good look at it tomorrow and get pics of any imperfections, I think there was a small crack but where the choke lever sits so an easy fix.

I have several grand canyons up there at the moment, haha. I might get it reskinned, sounds like a good idea. I'm not too sure what consoles are worth, XRQTR. Can anyone give me a rough estimate?

P.s Do 240k consoles fit 260z's?

I have a complete 260Z dash and a complete 240Z dash that I no longer need. They have all the instruments fitted and I think the wiring is still in both.

I have no idea what they are worth so the fairest thing to do would be to put them on eBay. I will try to have the 260 posted next Sunday for a week.

Warren from All Zed parts in Sydney often has BNIB 260 consoles in stock, I picked one up last year, they are for the LHD model (lid opens the wrong way) but this can be reversed.

How about the choke lever, any problems in that regard?
