I might leave the printing side up to Sulio, since he's in the country. The black background is there just to show the white stroke around the letters. They will be a clear sticker with white outline (if ya get what I mean). Oh and any opinions are appreciated. Quote

And what works best, I've been told a single colour works best. ie: black & white, so maybe the red won't be able to stay. And also what size would you be after? I can email that gif to him and ask if the red can stay or not. Im sure theres different sorts of stickers aswell but will find that out aswell. Quote

I think it would get pretty pricey if we asked for a vinyl type. The NDSOC sticker seems to be fine and that goes on the inside of the car. Quote

zedevan Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 looks good, i think the white outline around the 'Z' should be infront of the black text would an inside sticker be a problem in terms of pulling off tinting upon removal? I guess most people dont have tinting, but i do! and the sticker would only be removed for upgrading purposes lol Quote

He said we might need a special vinyl but i think he thought the stickers would be on the outside. Has anyone thought of seeing who the does the NDSOC stickers? Quote

Gav I remember the last ones I got made up were quite jaggered as I suuplied the sticker guy a jpeg and the pixelation came up. Do you know if it needs to be a vector image or some othe file type? Sulio as this has gone back and forward for ages now I have decided to go with the last one...as I understand it the black is meant to be clear!?? the price I have been quoted via a local Co in Austrlia for clear poly stickers with matt finish is $125 for 125 (36mm x 6mm) stickers. I reckon we could find a better deal than this as it was just the first I came across on the net. Quote

Sulio, can you stretch the entire logo/sticker to 250mm in overall length and copy-embeded it , into of all things, a word document...you should be able to fit 2-3 stickers per rotated A4 page..and then email it to me. I bought a packet of A4 blank matt sticker paper from Officeworks for $30 (work account !!) and mucked around for for 20 minutes getting it sorted on the mighty Canon. Officeworks sell gloss A4 sticker paper for around $55-60 per packet, If I recall there where 25 A4 "individual" sheets to a pack, this should keep it waterproof, if it doesnt I'll touch-spray the ink with a clear coat. anyway I'll try to see If I can wrangle a packet of gloss A4 thru my work....Otherwise Ive still got 23 sheets of the matt paper leftover. geeez 36mm is tiny for a sticker !
