the.mb._ Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 i'm new to the forum, but have been reading all the great posts for a while now. i'm currently looking to buy a 240z or a 2 seater 260z in good condition that doesn't need any body work. i'm building a 1973 240z currently to a show standard & do not need another project. i'm willing to spend up to around $20,000 if the high standard is there. my project has become a longer term thing so i'm needing a weekend car to enjoy. i search the car sale websites often, some in the past have been overpriced for the condition they are in.( photo's can lie ) after having them inspected properly & only then would i be prepared to go further with a sale. if you can't tell i'm little to fussy for my own good, it's worth the end result for all the waiting!! any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted October 13, 2008 Moderators Posted October 13, 2008 Welcome and good luck with the search! Its always good to keep your ear to the ground. You just have to be at the right place at the right time. I've stumbled onto a couple of bargains in my past.. Quote

I agree with you, I've seen many nice looking examples. But I often question how good condition they are actually in. The right car will come along eventually. Quote
