hey guys, thought I'd post a few pics from the latest cruise (it was only me!) couldn't resist this spring weather, except for the sightseers traveling at SLOW speeds.  Was an awesome day with a couple of opportunities to 'let her fly' on the way home!  had a nice time pushing it through the gears with 6000rpm in 2nd with a quick shift into 3rd and then......BRAKES as I nearly wore another sightseer as a bonnet emblem who pulled straight out in front....thank the Lord for the brake overhaul last week, however I think my son may need new undies! ;D

I did notice however that my oil gauge was showing what seemed to be low pressure, I've included a couple of pics so that someone might be able to compare with theirs.  The first pic is pulling in 2nd gear at about 2500rpm and the second in 3rd gear pulling 4000rpm.

Not sure Lurch as the mechanic who put the motor in would have done that, perhaps an oil change and good grade of oil?  It will be going back into Daniel shortly for work on the miki's so will ask him also.

Interesting that the pressure seemed to be up this morning...probably because the oil is thicker when cold...a bit like me!  I'm going to change it tomorrow!

Even with the RB engine my oil pressure gauge sits just a tad higher than yours. I'm using Nissan engine oil (7.5-40W? I think). I've been told it's the best oil to use for the RB's.

Yeah like Lurch says Rev go and change your oil. But suss out the right grade of oil for your engine. We all know there are heaps of different types around these days. That might be why your pressure is low. It doesn't look right to me either (Bit low).

Having said that your car is looking great.
