GongZ Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 I can't find one of these listed by the usual Z parts suppliers, so I am hoping someone on here has one that I could buy. Quote
Gtv240z Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Have you tried Nissan spare parts? Even with their ridiculous mark up it should only be a $15 part Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted December 18, 2017 Administrators Posted December 18, 2017 Do you have the part no. handy? https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs This company I use to order Rx7 parts when I have the genuine part no. Often better prices than through dealers. Quote
CBR Jeff Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Part number will be 16420-E3011 Jeff gav240z 1 Quote
GongZ Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 Thanks for the quick replies! Jeff is correct about the part number, but I tried my local Nissan dealer and it is NLA. I then tried Gavin's suggestion and tried www.amayama.com. The site showed none available in Japan, but 2 available in the United Arab Emirates. The price was AU$2.10 each plus AU$31.90 delivery = Total of AU$34. I tried a Google search for the part number and found this site - partsouq.com This also showed 2 available in the UAE. Their price was AU$2.16 each plus AU$18.85 delivery = Total of AU$21.01. (Fedex 3-7 days, but Santa might get in the way of their schedule). Because the part was so cheap and the shipping for 2 was the same as for one - I ordered two. (final Paypal amount was AU$24.10) When I checked back on the amayama.com website - they were out of stock - so I assume these were the same items. Problem solved - thanks all! CBR Jeff 1 Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted December 18, 2017 Administrators Posted December 18, 2017 Hey Ian, Amayama is an aggregator for dealer stock globally, so it's good for genuine parts when you have a part no. So although you ordered via another site it's part of the same inventory as you found out. I find a lot of parts in the UAE for S30Z's (consumables). You can try rare part numbers in there all day long, but I've already knocked myself out trying and not found anything that's NLA when you ask dealers in Australia (for example). Quote
GongZ Posted December 23, 2017 Author Posted December 23, 2017 The spacers arrived from the UAE 3 days after I placed my order. gav240z 1 Quote
