I have a mate who wants a damaged one to adapt to his twin weber set up on his 1600, so still interested in selling?

If David doesn't want the cracked one I'm keen as long as the crack is on the carb mounting portion of the air cleaner and not the removable section

I'm also interested in the cracked 1, wouldn't mind cutting up 2 boxes to make 1 Airbox for a set of Triples ;)

My original plan was to make a factory style air cleaner for triples, historic rego rules here in SA just became much more relaxed, which was half my motorvation, and I put a heat shield on the other day which won't work so decided bugger it not interested in that any more, revolve the budget and buy some other bits for the zed.

There a ding in the back cover which isn't much and the intake has a tear in it which is it downfall but could be welded up.

Don't know what it's worth, Might go best offer by end of the weekend can have it, I and can post with E-go or pickup business hours or weekend.

I am third in line, so will wait and see what the other above want to do.

PS: Do you have the fasteners for the airbox, not the wing nuts the ones that attach the airbox backing plate to the carb bodies? I have 1 odd fastener (someone replaced it) and I have to switch between rackets when removing it. Pain in the butt...

Will check with my mate and get back to you

Off topic so apologies.

I loaned my air cleaner to my mate just to confirm that it would work and noted that my air cleaner only had a trumpet on the rear inlet not the front. It didn't look modified so assume this was standard for my 8/71 build car?
