240/260 Hatch Hinge Rubbers.

Hi someone was makin those hinge rubber thingos on this site. I bought a set and they wouldn't fit a bus so sent them back. Now I have a real car I need the inserts again. Please tell me who was makin these thingoes.

I can't remember now, but Issac (the wood chipper out in Penrith) has a few and gave me a set a while ago. So he might know who was making them? They were pretty good!

So what's the story with these, do they perish and crumble away or what?

Mine are still buried in place, hard to feel much of them with the hatch on but the portion I can reach still feels pliable.

Had a look at another owner's 2-seater last weekend and same with his.

Until you pull them out to check for rust. Usually so stuck in there they just tear apart.

Not sure why they were in 240/260  2Seaters but not in 2+2. I know that they will not fit in 260 2+2.
