44014 Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 Gents, I have searched the Internets to no avail and was wondering if any of my fellow S30 enthusiasts have come across a solution. I wish to replace my link pin bushes with rode/Heim joints. I am wondering if anyone could direct me to someone who sells a kit or if available Straight heim/rose joints are available IE: not requireing 2 bolts and 90 degree bracket to adapt at both ends to the car and sway bar. Kind regards Doug Quote
260DET Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 When I did mine it was as you describe with bolted on 90 degree brackets which of course gives some length adjustability, a good thing. Seems the simplest and best way if using spherical bearings in any form. What exactly did you have in mind? Quote

44014 Posted September 22, 2016 Author Posted September 22, 2016 Because race car Lochy.... Both ends Jeff. That's pretty much what I'm thinking Richard. I know there is a commodore link pin that has a a straight ball joint on one end but 90 degrees on the other end. Quote
dat2kman Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 Some sway bar maker does a vague multi-hole "blade" type bar for the S30, it comes with ungainly S shaped links, and a 90deg bit f angle that bolts to topside of LCA. Piss off the S shaped link, and fit a male/female double Heim type rod end. I have a pair of these, they come with the machined ferrules, to prevent the fastening bolts, from smacking the living crap out of the precision rod ends. $150 Yes, ex race car,,,, Quote
