Administrators gav240z Posted March 20, 2008 Administrators Posted March 20, 2008 There was a LD28 powered Z in the US a while ago that ran on Veggie oil. It went onto Ebay not sure where it is now. With the way fuel and oil and going, maybe it will be a viable option for us Zed enthusiasts in the future. http://forum.conceptcarz.com/forums/thread/38136.aspx http://greenyes.grrn.org/2004/09/msg00087.html Quote

Administrators gav240z Posted March 20, 2008 Administrators Posted March 20, 2008 Discussion on Google about Veggie Power http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=459807 I wonder if they could adapt a Rotary to work with this? It would need to compress the fuel and have glow plugs, but hey could be awesome? Quote
sco_aus Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Theres so much involved in making the stuff, you really have to have a lot of time up your sleeve and also the engine needs to be built with the correct seals, bio diesel stuffs normal engine seals. A good common rail turbo Diesel is the way to go, so efficient, you dont need bio. Quote
tbscobraZ Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 The bio enthanol is going to be good as soon as this comes out. http://www.carbodydesign.com/archive/2007/01/02-lincoln-mkr-concept/ I just hope is E100 capable lol. Quote
