Every injection ntched head, if run on carbies, should be done like this.

Jason would it be a benefit for ITB setups as well as the injector notches are not used in an ITB setup? I seriously need to come around with a notebook and spend a few hours chatting.

TB's with injectors up near the butterflys would benefit.

Nissan did get it right by notching the ports at head, and squirting fuel right into back of valve head.

They jst didnt get their afI manifolds quite right!

Economy = get the injectors as close to the valve as possible (hence port notches)
(Current technology is direct port injection).

Performance = get the injectors out in front of the intake (trumpet). However this uses more fuel.
(e.g. V8 SuperTaxi's & F1)

With Nissan designing their early EFi system, there was a compromise of both performance & economy.
Remember: this was at a time the Californian smog regulations (primary market) & global oil crisis was in full swing...
