Diggers Bunings Stripper - Is There Any Better Options

have started to do a bit of stripping on the front guards and am finding that diggers gel only does an average job, even with 3 mm thick layer and plastic over the top

should i wait for a bit longer?

it starts to wrinkle within 10 min and then seems to stop

based on good methylene chloride, it should be plenty powerful

has anyone tried other brands eg the supercheap one ?

I've tried the Septone one from Supercheap and that works well. Let it sit for awhile and you'll be happy with the results. 

 

Unfortunately the Diggers branded paint stripper really does suck.

I was told to cover it with a plastic bag to make it work better

yep done that. stops it from drying for sure

Septone and glad wrap worked for me.

You need some warmth to help the chemical reaction take place. Probably about 20 deg. But less than 30 deg

Use some course sandpaper and scuff up the surface before applying the paint stripper， cover with plastic for an hour and then use a razor blade scraper with the long handle， then use a water compressor to clean off the left over residue.
