260DET Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 That thing may be on HybridZ too, far as I'm concerned if you put pics of a modified car up then take the good with the bad comments. Keep on trollin Gav Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted June 7, 2016 Administrators Posted June 7, 2016 The Facebook groups are fair game, but I won't tolerate him knocking Steely Dan. Legends. Hah, I missed this thread - must have been busy doing something else when it was put up. I chose Steely Dan because they elicit a love / hate relationship. https://www.google.com.au/search?q=Why+do+people+hate+steely+dan&oq=Why+do+people+hate+steely+dan For those that don't know there was a few previous posts on Facebook re: help me find my old S30Z and they were cars with some abhorrent modifications done on them. It's funny because some people thought I was serious about it. There is also quite a few folks on those groups claiming some clean original S30Z's are overpriced, they think you should be able to find good ones for $10K no questions asked because they bought a run down Z on Craigslist 5 years ago for that much. So yeah a bit of tongue in cheek . The problem with Facebook and this may be by design (on behalf of Facebook) is that all discussions are ephemeral and vapid, meaning sometimes good information is posted but it's lost under the weight of never ending news cycles and therefore it's actually a little pointless at times... Agree, which is why a good forum is way better for a continuing discussion and ease of locating previous information of value. It's a pity that a lot of people take the easy way out and use the book of faces for car stuff, often apparently just to make a single line valueless comment. Quote
