joe71_240z Posted August 5, 2025 Posted August 5, 2025 https://www.dmhistorics.com/showroom/other-classics/1971-datsun-240z/ No VIN listed but I believe that it is #675. Gavin already has it logged in this thread but this is a reappearance for it. I remember when it sold on carsales several years ago. It was in top condition, went to the UK, pulled down and rebuilt. Roughly AUS$120k which seems right for our market. I thought they might be going for a little more over there considering the numbers they got. gav240z 1 Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted August 5, 2025 Author Administrators Posted August 5, 2025 Yes same car, think it's been sold on a couple of times since it left our shores. FYI: The radio is slightly wrong. It has the correct faceplate but it's not a TM-1081ZB(S) radio. Note the white tuning indicator. I think it's a later 260z style radio behind the face. Quote

joe71_240z Posted September 12, 2025 Posted September 12, 2025 (edited) https://namt.com.au/datsun-240z Wonder what the VIN of this one is. Looks very nice and stock, also an auto. Any members in Tasmania familiar with this one? <Edit> Online registration check shows engine number as L24-042387. No VIN reported. Edited September 12, 2025 by joe71_240z Quote

A friend told me several years ago there was a z car there but I didnt realise it was 338. Looks like to has a 72 model year dash in it for some reason. Quote
