dat240z Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Hi guys, my rear strut never held and needed to be regassed. When I got the z back from paint and lifted the hatch, it made the "working strut sound" and now it is stuck open, the strut wont retract. So im after a working one to get on with the build.. any help would be great!! Quote

MaygZ Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I was quite a while ago. I think it was 2 struts for the hatch of my old Alfasud - which makes it nearly 20 years ago - shit I'm old .... Anyway my memory says hey were about $11 each - which even then I remember wondering how he could make a living with charges like that. He didn't re-gas my struts, this was swap over. Quote
gilltech Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 They don't rebuild them, they replace them with generic. I think most cities would have a mobile service for replacement struts. Quote
