Early model 260z rear drum brake cylinder right side

I am looking for a right rear drum brake cylinder for my 1974 260Z.  I have not been able to get my current one to seal with new rubber kit.  The barrel is clean but not smooth.  Can I use very fine sand paper to improve the seal?  Who would sell the cylinder in Aus?  I have new brake cylinders on my parts 1977 260Z but they are totally different.

Thanks

I recently had my 240z wheel cylinders re-sleeved (to original bore diameter) as I couldn't find replacement ones.

They cost me about $150 and seem to be done very well.

They were done by Weldon Brake and Clutch in Miranda.

Sand paper is to rough, try a brake honing tool.

If that doesn't work, or you not confident and competent to do the job yourself then  agree with going the re-sleeving route. But I would do them in pairs.

I just had a full set of 4 done for an old Chev for around $80 each.

Most old school brake shops can do the job.

I just sent a pair to powerbrakes in adelaide. They quoted me $75 each to sleeve. Will hopefully get them back today.

You might be able to new ones on ebay but its easier to get them overhauled.

Thank you for the input and ideas.  I have found a place in Brendale Qld that do stainless steel sleeving and will re-sleeve for $66 a cylinder and 1 day turn around.  Will give this a try tomorrow.
