SEMelb, wanted to borrow for a few days: 1 x 16 x 8 rim with 225 ish tyre fitted

Hi all.

 

As above I'm hoping to borrow a rim and tyre (16 x 8 with a 225/ 50 or 45) to check clearance for my exhaust where pipes will come up to the rear muffler behind the back wheel.

 

Only need it for a few days.

It'll foul,,,,,,,,,

Go for 15"'s with a 225/50 tyre. Better for suspension geometry and just clears.

Its a 240 with the small dia struts and Ive got rolled lips  and 0 offset 16 x 8 , seen plenty of cars with this combo and 225/50?

I had 16x8 0 offset with 225/45 and it didn't foul anything.

I'm happy to help out too David, I have those sized wheels but with semi slicks if that's a problem.
