Roberto Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Hi Guys, These holes I believe were to accommodate larger bumpers on the US zeds. For the Australian market, the factory plugged them with a large oval shaped rubber plug. My plugs are not in the best shape and very hard and brittle so I doubt they will get back in there. I have not been able to source replacements. What are the options? Weld them up is the only one I can think of. What have others done? Quote
Scoota G Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I welded mine up on the 2 seater, a much cleaner look and it's not a hard job. Get Cracking! Quote

Administrators gav240z Posted November 19, 2013 Administrators Posted November 19, 2013 I have always hated these holes that serve no purpose on the AU delivered 260z's weld her up. Quote

nizm0zed Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 there are other options to welding though. Paper mache, chicken wire and bog would be one. Gaff tape could work too? Or, for the ultimate wtf customisation, stick the US bumpers on there. (you did ask for options ) Quote
