pauly_adams Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 hey guys I don't have the time to fix my much beloved z31 2 seater, so im offering her up for sale, she has some rust in the passanger rear quarter and a little around the windscreen, the engine is in need of a rebuild due to a blown head gasket and my shed that leaked into the cylinders, the auto gbox in it was working and the rest of the car is stock, I have stripped out the interior for cleaning as the seat will clean up but the carpet is stuffed, it is missing the following parts, rear windscreen, dissy, and cluster, it will need new front windscreen, new carpet and minor rust repairs (passanger inner quarter). I have tracked down most the parts for it including the original rear hatch( was not easy to find) and a few other bits. im open to offers but am looking for $4000 upwards as this is not a 2+2 but a 2 seater and is a very early production number ( HZ31-001104) its production date is 1983. I will post pictures up later today as its dark at the moment. don't miss out on owning a rare z31 coupe as it is advitised else where aswell Quote
luvemfast Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Ordinarily I'd say that you're dreming. But I really do love the Z31 2 seater shape, they are pretty scarce here! Good luck with the sale. Quote
pauly_adams Posted August 16, 2013 Author Posted August 16, 2013 yeh there not very easy to find at all, rust wise its nearly free also, don't forget the diff in it is worth a bit of coin aswell (R200 lsd) Quote

pauly_adams Posted August 21, 2013 Author Posted August 21, 2013 bump $2500 without the diff, need the money to finish my 260z and my 280zx Quote
pauly_adams Posted August 22, 2013 Author Posted August 22, 2013 yeh a z31 is a 300zx, in Australia they only came out in 2+2, mine however is a jap spec z31 fairlady z and a very early build number at that, not to mention it has not a lot of rust and is relatively stock Quote
260DET Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Someone buy this and stick a LS* in it Was looking for one of these five years ago, none around then. Quote
260DET Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Can't believe that a two seater at this price has no takers I realise that this is predominantly a S30 forum but surely someone is prepared to step out into the dark unknown Quote
pauly_adams Posted August 30, 2013 Author Posted August 30, 2013 im highly considering just keeping it and putting it into storage to be honest, rust is near non existent, the reason for selling was I have a baby on the way and the funds would help a great deal. if I cant get $2500 ill just keep it and drive it once the engine is done Quote
260DET Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 If I had the garage space it would be mine in a heartbeat at that price. Work on it at my leisure, probably a na LS*, sequential manual or tiptronic auto, body kit, sort the rear suspension out....... Quote
pauly_adams Posted September 6, 2013 Author Posted September 6, 2013 still for sale, need it gone $2500 for diff and all Quote
tattoo_ink Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 rust proof it and stash it pauly!!! Quote
pauly_adams Posted September 14, 2013 Author Posted September 14, 2013 that's what will be happening if it doesn't sell by next week Quote
dat2kman Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Do tell? Or is it all very secret squirrell! Quote
pauly_adams Posted October 16, 2013 Author Posted October 16, 2013 a little bit of a secret, you will soon see it on the track, and it could not have gone to a better home Quote
d3c0y Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 You would have to enter this in improved prod right? Quote
PZG302 Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Nope, isn't eligible for improved production so would be prod sports if doing door to door, or would make a good targa type car. If for prod sports, wouldn't be competitive these days, even with turbo as you have to use original turbo and manifolds. If it's being used for sprints then will fit into whatever generic category that it best fits into. Quote
