240z steering column surround

Hey guys, I need a 240z steering column surround. It's the big black plastic piece that covers the column and ignition barrel. I need both pieces in good condition.

Edit. Not sure but maybe a 260z's is the same, can anyone confirm?

240Z ones are a bit smaller but from memory 260 ones can fit too. I may have one; just have to get home and have a peek.

Yeah 260z ones fit aswell and imo better as the bottom part extends further back and hugs the column abit better so wires etc are better hidden. Also is of a slightly thicker better quality plastic than the 240's.

Thanks for the info Tai, I know what you mean mine looks great on the outside but all the screw points are broken.

 

Dimitri, either is fine. Could you bring it with you to Nats?

I have one that you can have but 2 of the 4?? screw holes have snapped Can be fixed with superglue and is not visible from outside..

Can you weld the plastic back together with a soldering iron?

"Rapid Fix" is better for that, as it can be drilled & tapped...

The one on my 240z has no screws. I just use two cable ties to hold it in place.....Just like a bought one.
