twoforty z Posted May 31, 2017 Share Posted May 31, 2017 Hey all, Recently recieved my Nissan Comp steering wheel and will start giving it a tidy up soon. I was wondering if anybody had tried fiting a 280z horn pad from an American 280z to their 240z steering wheel as a cheaper alternative to buying a reproduction horn pad? gilltech Posted June 1, 2017 Share Posted June 1, 2017 (edited) I have a 240Z wheel here to compare with my NZ 260Z. Completely different design, nothing interchangeable, not even the spring! I think it reasonable to presume the USA 280Z wheel is the same as the 260Z which they got too? But there are a couple of different sized padded sections, my 260 has the taller one but I found a smaller style recently, dunno what it's origin is looks much like the one in your picture.
