luvemfast Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Are you going to persist with Neil's cross flow cooling? Quote
Gordo Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Awesome work Peter. This will be a beast. Quote
peter mc Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 Cooling will be a Davis crag electric pump and go into the block on the exhaust side , Quote
Ledge Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 That looks sweet peter, Not that im a number person but what are you hoping it will make? Cheers Paul Quote
peter mc Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 Hi Paul around 425hp engine NA at 9000 rpm Quote
Ledge Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Sorry peter, i was drooling over the pics in the first post and didn't read the writing, if i had of done that i wouldn't have needed to ask. With my Rb30 head L I'm drilling into the head bolt hole to feed oil to the top does the Rb26 head need the same sort of thing done. Cheers Paul Quote
Sirpent Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Priceless ! You could sit there just admiring it all day Pete Quote
peter mc Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 Just like your head Ledge , there is 2 plugs in the head that are removed and i have fitted 2 -3 fittings to feed the oil in and i will suck the oil out with the drysump pump with a fitting in the back of the head , it will not have any breathers in the covers , Quote
Brabham Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Awesome work, look forward to hearing this thing on the dyno Quote
tbscobraZ Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Is that an os head. Looks incredibly awesome. Quote
peter mc Posted January 22, 2013 Author Posted January 22, 2013 because its not possible with the head , cc =63 so the piston needs a 20cc bump to get 12.1 comp Quote
