  1. Just popped back in to say I've been very lazy (if rebuilding a deck and working is lazy). I'm happy enough with the early clock for now. The dark theme is very good for battery life. My Advice NZder: think about the Smartwatch and whether you really need one. I haven't worn watches for years and due to work I haven't really worn the Gear S2 lately either. I didn't know about the LG Urbane when I grabbed the S2. It looks pretty nice and solid but other than that I don't know too much about it.
  2. One of the nicest Z's I've seen.
  3. Hmm. I was going to see what else I could CAD but probably the Rally/Calendar version 74/76 clockface should come next. I didn't add any depth to the watchface as depth doesn't look right on the digital display. Pitch black background looks best and gives the best battery life.
  4. Made myself a custom watchface for my Gear S2 watch: I used a CAD program to trace a picture of a JECO 240Z clock. Did a little editing in paint.net and uploaded it to my watch.
  5. I like the red one best. I saw it NZ Performance Car magazine a few years ago (still have the magazine).
  6. I had a trial version of Rhino for years but barely used it as the surfaces are not very editable (20 of 25 saves left). I opened it up again to see if it was worth buying but it lead me hunting for T-Splines which lead me to Fusion. I've only used Fusion for a few days and find it a little frustrating for CAD (coming from Rhino) but the surfaces are editable which I am going to put to the test with my next project.
  7. Here's the central vent. Not finished and not accurate at all. Just enough to learn the ropes.
  8. You could 3D print this but 3D printing isn't really up to scratch yet. I have no experience with 3D printing or CNC but I am going to give the toolpath function a crack.
  9. Also, I apologise for the project filename but that's what I thought of the workflow in 360 on the weekend.
  10. Hi, Here is my draft of a 240z dash vent in Fusion 360 I did on the weekend. I had done this up in Rhino 5 but figure Fusion 360 is a bit more flexible. Just doing this for fun/learning but I do plan on getting the dimensions correct at some point. I left off the bumps/grip to keep it nice and sleek. I also did the central vent (with bumps). Cheers Scott
  11. Very Nice. Good luck with the sale.
  12. I have wondered what Rod charges for his cars. I'm just a bit short of affording one... I also wonder what Ferrari think of it as well. They have destroyed replicas in the past but Rod's cars are a work of art.
