Yeah it was just a big test day for me and the car. we were still fine tuning the engine fail safes and the shifter cut settings. The next run after this vid was better but still tweaking the ecu parameters. Breaking the axle didn't help. But that's what testing is for. First place for the weekend was a mid 44 second pass. The above vid was 45.8. Take out the miss and add more throttle and rpm and it doesn't take a genius to work out the cars potential. Bigger axles are currently getting made. so hope not to long until is go time to find the next weakest link. Cheers Lads

It was great to finally meet you and Kylie. Emails and phone are one thing but in person Is always better. Shame you live in a non Datsun loving city. We do get spoilt with them over here. Its been a bit of back and forwards with them for almost a year. Well worth the time invested. I have sold my TTI box to a mate so cant wait for the HGT to arrive.

Well great news for the car this week. I've secured a new naming rights sponsor for at least the next 12 months. It is HGT Precision. www.hgtprecision.com This means I will be running one of there newest Billet 6 speed sequential gearboxes with a rating of 700ft lbs, most other seq are only rated to 600ft lbs. As it stands we haven't touched any un boltable panels. Just been working on the main body. We have now mounted the car on the jig with the sill clamps(now that we have sills) and will start on the front rails etc. After the body is repaired we will then move onto the loose panels. The hatch is not to bad and the rear beaver we used bits of the donor car to repair the original.

If George wants to disclose times and costs that's up to him. From my point of view the car is a lot further along than what I thought it would be at this $ spent
