I'm more than happy to use the shop as a hosting place. Plenty of parking and burnout area , i mean casual driving room. So how does Saturday the 4th or Sunday the 5th sound. I'm not going to play the back and forward game. it will be one of these days, my apologize to you if you cant make it on that weekend. We shall take turns hosting and there will always be people who cant make it. For any interstaters there is a sofa bed and plenty of swag room. Cheers

Well Chaps i am afraid i have to part with Patina. Due to the fact my track Z is more my priority and i need to get a good box for it. 1977 260z 2 seater Chassis number is in the 20000's so it is one of the last ever made Engine: L28, cam etc. Cant give exact list of internals as they are unknown to me but is a good sounding engine that runs smooth and drives great and doesn't smoke. 240Z su's, electronic dizzy. Gearbox: is in good other than second syncro is on way out. Standard problem. Does come with another box but of unknown condition. Clutch: is also tired but does come with another clutch. I have basically been waiting one or the other to fail then change them both at the same time. Suspension : koni Reds all round, Lowered HD springs, Not sure of spring brand but they are green. Adjustable front LCA's but not castor rod. Rear arms have eccentric bushes. Diff: r200, sound good but not LSD. Exhaust: Extractors, 2 1/4 pipe with stainy resonator and muffler. Has nice sound. Brakes: Standard 260z. work well. Wheels: Rota RB's 17x9, 17x9.5. Front tyres near new 245, rears 60% 255 Interior: Working condition, all worn but doesn't really need replacing. Up to personal taste really. Clock and tacho no work. Exterior : No major rust, Some small surface areas, Paint is umm old but new. 2pac matte clear over custom race car look. $15500. Hello people, After the weekend of motorsport it has come apparent to me that my stock standard RB25 turbo Gearbox is not going to take the 700hp i keep throwing at it. So what i am after is options for the future. Must be 6 sped sequential, dog , 1 overdrive. Now i have sent emails of to: Holinger : 22k sequential dog box, 6 speed, NEW : Will cost around 2K to convert ex supercar box to fit behind RB Albins : 26k sequential transaxle is all they can offer apparently. Modena : 18k MV8S 6 speed, not a bad looking thing, remote shifter, bolt on. NEW PPG : Brushed me aside, said there Helical set should be fine. Quaife : QBE69G around 14K landed OS giken : 14k they have the OS 88, gtr box and have been told with mods to rear housing it can work 2wd no probs. Anyone confirm this ? Tractive RD90 : Around 17G landed TTI : 13G landed Japan : Can get OS etc for same costs as us here, Can get quaife for 9000 If you guys can think of any others please let me know Cheers in advance lads Paul

Ya pussy Mick, only took it to 5, had 5 to go. zed74 i have no choice but to skip a gear, the syncros are worn and the time it would take to go through 2 gears would cause me more grief. That's the first time its ever done that, Plus i was given the wrong advice on which way to turn brake bias, plus rhr on the loose stuff. Thus the reason I'm currently getting sequential dog box options. So if any one has some advice please give it Cheers Paul

Roberto the cheapest way for you to do this is get a 2+2 roof, cut it so it sits on you roof opening get inside car and mark the hole out on the 2+2 roof cut it to the size. get someone to butt weld it in preferably with an oxy. Then a bit of dent knocking and bog. jobs done. I would metal finish it but 3mm of fill in spots will be fine The 2+2 roof is different i hear you say, Yes but the middle is the same or close enough. Yes i can make you up a roof but it will be more expensive than this. You need to decide how much you want to spend on fixing you sunroof and do whatever fits into your budget cheers Paul
