  1. Ebay ofcourse gents I saw them on FuFu's Z a while ago at Dimitris place so asked Fu about them. I was still running original rotors up until today, Thay had gone a dark shade of blue
  2. How does it go Simon? Is the third chapter frankestein goes to phillip island??
  3. Kyle I tried fitting some STI WRX seats into my 240 but they were too wide by quite a way. They are very comfy seats though and I'm sure with enough work they could fit.
  4. New parts arrived today when did aussie post start doing deliveries on a sunday at 10.30 am They came from the U.S. but actually has a part number and 'japan' stamped on the inside and outer edge! I didn't think to right it down until after I started bedding them in Oh well I'll get it next time I have the wheels off. So took a few hours this arvo to fit them to the front of the Ricey
  5. It was 20/50 but had the consistancy of tea, I would've been better off using thinners as that wouldn't have vanished as fast! hehe.

    1/2 Cage

I'd highly recommend Brown Davis for the cage I got from them 7mnths ago, It's a 6 point with side intrusions, powder coated, on a car with full interior for $2100. Pleasure to deal with
  7. I ran yellow and green after the compound change. You will have a quick Z but on the street EBC have excellent bite first up, just check after each race if you are doing track days
  8. Wow, that came up so well. The silver breaks up the interior a bit too
  9. Hehe, different strokes for different folkes, maybe you don't brake hard enough lol. Maybe I don't drive fast enough! I was using standard rotors and calipers with EBC, I have brake ducting.. that (fully standard) could be a cause for my problems! Out of interest which GSL compound did you use? Sorry for tiny hiighjack Adam
  10. Looking real neat Tim, thats a huge saving on the gauges There's some info on fitting the Autometer gauges to factory Z housings on HybridZ, if you are feeling very brave that is.... Has the dash been restored, looks better than new.
  11. I ran green stuff on my standard front calipers before recent brake upgrade, when I checked brakes before a track day found pad material had cracks everywhere and sections were missing pads were only 50% worn. I upgraded to yellow stuff and they were ok, still had pitting of the pad material when removed from the car.... Now running Hilux fronts, R31 rears with pads from GSL Rallysport (QLD), best I've ever had! EBC red and yellow had compound change a while ago and now work from cold. I found the EBC's to be very dusty too. I ran yellows after the compound change...
  12. Fitted the MSD unit today, it's up near the battery infront of carbs so should have reasonable airflow around it. I didn't set up the launch/burnout rev limiter as I only want to the high rev limiter. I also left the old module and spare wires below coil incase the new unit fails, everything is labelled to make it easier 'if' it does need to be reconnected The IC&E leads were a little disappointing with number 1+3 a bees d#@k off to short to use, I'll be asking for proper length replacements at no cost!
  13. New goodies arrived on the doorstep this afternoon Should get it fitted shortly I also got a factory service manual, these have soooo much more detail than any other manual I've seen before. It's as thick as a bible too, might put it in the bedside draw
  14. The small bottom fitting should be a drain point for the can, top will be inlet/outlet. I'm about to fit one also, mine will have rocker hose going in the top, breather on the fitting next to it, drain plug at bottom and a clear level indicator tube. I still have pcv into inlet manifold, so it's only the rocker cover breather to worry about.
  15. +4 penrite HPR40, used it for 5 years on my original L28 and it still doesn't used oil. Used mobil1 when I first got it and a litre was eaten in no time
  16. You should be ok. I've done something similar before, just had to take it easy and stay below 85kph

Thanks Aaron, they are 16x8 with 225 50 16 semi slicks.
  18. that was my thought also, shorter cable run means less voltage drop... Msd say 5000ohms of resistance means 5000volts less at the plug
  19. Hmmmm... They still look great Can't change it now. I think ours a correct, everyone else stuffed up! That's my story and I'm sticking to it hehe.
  20. Just dont expect it to be on the shelf, unless it's fyord or the general... Most Datsun parts are special order taking 2-3days. I always seem to start my projects at 3pm on a friday, resulting in a mad search for on the shelf parts
  21. I have purchased an MSD 6AL-2 I think I'm going to mount it right next to the battery on the fire wall, It will be on rubber mounts and will fit it to aluminiun plate to act as heat sink.... Sound ok? All the installs by MSD on youtube are in similar locations :-\ Another thought, what about a perspex box over it? Sheild heat, keep it dry and clean....
  22. Hey John is this with PIARC? I believe there's a few of us going to next weekends MSCA sprint? Unless I have my dates wrong :-\ hehe.
  23. Hey kato, I have an r200 moustaka bar with urethane bushes. What's a fair price? Also have an r200 3.7 with s13 viscousLSD centre unknown condition, needs collars for bolts on crown wheel. I got the s13 outputs made to suit shortened Datsun drive shafts. I ended up going with r180 4.1 torsen LSD.
  24. Anyone have Model numbers/pictures of their installs? Thanks for the advice so far, very helpful
