  8. bit of an update contemplated selling it after my brother being annoyed at me for giving up and wanting me to keep it + plus with 2 buyers falling through we decided to give it a crack at starting it up the result but it was missing the rod from the accerlerator to the carbies so with my mad cable tie skills and my brothers mad woodwork skills we came up with this i managed to then drive it to the top of my driveway and back sounds awsome with no exhaust
  9. I have these on the way from japan, 15x9.5-6 4x114.3 PAIR ONLY but it looks like im selling the 240 so i wont have anything to put them on you rarely see 15in rims this wide/ low offset, would look sweet on a s13 or hachi or Z they are on the boat atm and are probebly 3-4 weeks off (as a estimate) i am selling them for this price BEFORE THEY ARIVE as i need money for a new car Once they land in aus the price will be going up $900ono (or atleast a 50% deposit before they arive) will be ariving in NSW Locky 0431616515

  12. dont want to let it go so after around 5g
  13. hey as much as it pains me to say, i might have to let go of the 240 basically with my new job i dont have alot of time to work on it, and it most likly wont be on the road for months was ment on the road as a daily but due to only having every 2nd weekend off, i think i may have bitten off more than i can chew Sooooooooooooooooo the car is a 72 240z , 7X,XXX miles on the clock was running and on the road before it was taken off the road for restoration. was 1/2 completed, then lost intrest, which is when i bought it Good- has a L28 in it (was last registered with the motor in it , so shouldnt have trouble with the RTA about it) very little rust floor pan has been redone and sprayed body is straight for age, lil bits of bog, but can be taken of if you wanted to recently replaced shocks and springs dash recovered needs attention car in primer 5cm ish square of rust in boot floor (easy fix), looks like little comeing up near batery tray, nothing major and stuff all compared to most out there some parts have been taken out for ease of respray exhaust made up after extractors missing parts to my knowlege front and rear bumpers filter box rod between firewall and carbie linkage drivers side window (most of these are easy to find) and i have all other parts + spares in the car/boxes car currently isnt running i gave it a service, was getting fuel ect and it was so close to turning over, but may need timeing or something tinkered with. you could probely get it going in a weekend easy, just thats as far as i got and i havent had a chance to work on it since for someone with a lil time it shouldnt be to hard to get back on the road. or a great base for a project dont really want to sell it, so im not gong to give it away, anyone seriously interested can pm me, keep in mind that 240s are becoming harder to come by also have a pair of SSR meshies 15x9.5-6 (rare size that will give good fitment on a 240) on there way from japan which i can include for extra will swap for a cheap STOCK S13/14/180 and maybe a stagea or something similar with cash adjustment your way Loacated 1/2 hour south of campbelltown NSW LOOKS LIKE A SHELL IN THE PICS, BUT I HAVE ALL BUT THAT LISTED TO GO WITH THE CAR TO BE READY TO BOLT BACK ON
  14. if you do get one, get oe with an inbuilt thermostat (like greddy) or ad one inline this will solve the problem of winter/ getting the oil up to temp no way id run a street car with a oilcooler without a thermostat
  15. looks like its aftermarket ignition probebly didnt help that i had a battery that is smaller than the stock s14 battery, trying to crank over a 6, started to sound like the it was igniting occasionally, but then the battery was dying worried the timing might be out, or the issue with the dizzy probebly not doing anything till the weekend, setting up the new shop ............... im tired
  16. played around with it today new oil, oil filter, fuel filter, rubber fuel lines, coolant, spark plugs. drained the old fuel tryed to get it started, playing around with the fuel and finally got some pumping.... till not starting, so have to play around with the spark next weekend

  23. i actually bid on the matching pair of 9-14, but because i wasnt too sure if they would fit i put a small bid on and was beaten i won then for 40000 yen, wich works out to be 500ish. because this size is really popular for widbody ae86 and s13's they go for the same price as a nice set of wide 17s by the time there shipped to streeter, streeters commision, then sent to me, will probebly work out in the 700's (havent actually got the final total off him yet) im looking for a matchin pair, and found some with the flat lip in a 15x8-6, but got outbid by $5 in the last 5 min. because you cant actually step up your bid right away, i lost them
  24. whenever unemployed til wednesday (after 2 months, yay+ cheap parts) and still got no licence for 3 weeks so im stuck at home when im not working
  25. thanks ill probebly need it, putting back together a car that i dont know how it goes back together is destined to end in me being confused and yelling loudly
