  9. go to autobarn and have a look at the aerpro ones there, or the cataloge if they dont have one in stock probebly just get the universal ones with the round seal, ill have a look when im at work because i need one for my 240
  10. i think its standard looks like the shocks have been painted yellow and i noticed it still had nissan on them i think spring are standard too.......... or does it look lowered will be getting 30mm lowering springs once its on the road
  11. got new rims for the front 15x7+5 needs to be lowered and a biger tyre profile on the back for shits and giggles its starting to actually look like a 240 rather than a shell
  12. hmmmmmm well i got a reply and the extractors are to big to be sent from usa some of the ones on yahoo actions are porn........... but worth more than my wheels so that rules them out  my exhaust is going to get done at a local shop, i think they can manage a pipe, but dont trust them making extractors
  13. seening as i have to get a exhaust made up from the extractos back, i was thinking of getting new extractors current ones bad pic look something like this just dont seem like the would flow to well, was thinking of getting something more of a tuned length. most of the local companies that i found in old threads dont make them for L6's any more saw these on arizona z car, look alright but shipping would be $$$ and dont know if they are any good to deal with http://www.arizonazcar.com/header.html anyone know of an ausie companies that have something similar, or can shead any light on arizona z car thanks
  14. to be honest im not uber worried about legalities the rims for the back already distroy any legal track increases (9.5-6 ) anyway bought a pair of 7+5 for the front, bt still not sure if they will it out as much as i want
  15. my car didnt come with any airbox or anthing off the carbs so i got the redline ones might try and rig up a bit of a CAI once its on the road
  16. dont want mine to be a exact copy, but love the style of this car + its in aus and it looks like he drifts any more info on the car ???
  17. hey trying to find some front wheels for my 240, but not sure if the ones im after will clear the strut/brakes ect so was looking into a bolt on spacer most of them from memory are hubcentric for a s13 in a 4x114.3 , but the "hub ring" (forget what its called) is bigger on a 240 right. i remember reading some where that someone was using s13 rotors but had to get them bored out to fit so does anyone here run spacers ? if so were they off the shelf or custom
  18. bam boot is horrible.......... meh
  19. thats as much as i payed for the window
  20. it i cars with that cult status/ look good/ go good/ rare that become classics ive wanted a 240z since i got interestd in cars, something about the looks, and the fact that they go alright (yet to experience this myself so far) i dont think non gtr skylines will become one, (look at the current market for old skylines) if you want one you do it right and get a GTR i think cars like the ae86's are already becoming one, especially the panda turenos. people paying 15g for a stock 20 year old corolla has to be a sign that there getting there (takumi tax anyone) i think the silvia series might be one, either the 13 or 15. light FR turbo, ease of modification, and big in the drifting scene. the 15 might be one even if drifting dies out, because it was the last of the basic turbo rwd cars pretty much like all japanese cars, like the 240. there not overly rare, but over time they slowly get less and less. there is somthing abot those cars that were kinda pockets of the era wich you cant get the same experience from now with moden cars
  21. proper acelerator rod ..............thanks one gaurd done, then it started to rain cleaned/slightly polished carb tops
  22. worked on it today for a bit trumpets on new leads gaurds off, noticed a lil rust changed the thermostat, think it wa a good idea  might have to flush the system all the bog sanded off the gaurds and highfilled, need a light sand still
  23. hey the mechanism i got with the ar looks to be off a 260 or something, i now have a window and no mechanism need one to suit a 240 (71 model if it makes a difference) asap. will pay for postage
  24. if they are around the same price as normal hsd's (ie turn into a off the self product) im up for a set
  25. im probebly doing this on mine 2.5in from the extractors then a flange near the diff, one muffler just a big chunk quite stock one off another car for when i want the car quite and sedate the other straight pipes with twin 2.5in tips (these are 3in, but you get the idea)
