  1. Im looking for A. Roof lining out of the 26 2+2 B. The interior pieces that come alomg the top of the doors from the rear window C. the trim pieces on the front a pillars(if they come with them) D. the crhome strips along the door, and around the window frames on both side's. Prefer brisbane area so i can come get the parts straight away. Thanks. Im also looking for the doorlock dovetails for both doors. There the bits under the main lock pin.. little long metal pieces with a ridge that slide into a rubber piece on the body. I'd take a photo.. but i cant get it onto the computer yet. anybody?
  2. After seeing the you tube video sushi put up.. ive been thinking if i should mod my engine or not. Also, the devil z has a 3.1l tripple carb twin turbs setup. Of course.. its a japanese cartoon, so not real as such. But, what is involved in building these engines? Ie, start with an l28 stroke bore etc.. or maybe start with an rb30 with l28 head bore stroke etc.. Basically, is it feasible? If i were to mod mine, i think i would go down either of those paths.

  5. chrome strips i hear? you dont happen to have the strips that run along the door frame? ie up the front along the top and down the back? I dont have the driver or passenger door strips.

  7. sorry guys, i cant make it tomorrow.. i did drive the 26 round the house tonight.. not forward and backward up the back yard.. and boy.. it feels like its got some pickup!.. but anyway.. i cannot make it.. will have to catch up on the next cruise. have fun guys.
  8. yeah.. that diff might not be helping.. nor the standard suspension. But they can all be overcome. your not really getting the correct practise on the skidpan. you need speed to carry you through a controlled slide. So hitting the big track is more what you need. Get the speed.. flick the back end and control the slide. Travelling at 20klms trying to get a slide by spinning the wheels and barely having moving motion does not create the drift, and is extremely hard to practise something your not really doing.
  9. well.. my new volks arnt ready for the 32 yet, im waiting on some rays nuts from jpan, which wont be here until mid next week. what do i do? The bt is cool.. but.. rather the 32.

  13. i have all the part numbers for all the rubbers on a 260 2+2.. if anybody is interested, i might start a thread just for that and put up all the part numbers for it.

  15. well.. my cat has a rocket powered scooter. you should see her fly up and down the foot path out the front of the house.. she says she could go way faster on the road.. but qld transport wont allow it to be classified as a powered transport vehicle, not the fact that she is a cat... oh well.. as crazy as the cat story is.. so is this car.. lol.

  19. Where would you be able to get a complete zg kit for a 26? thanks to steve for pointing out the difference to me.. i very much like the zg kit. Maybe ben at otomoto might be able to source something from jpan? Anyone have ideas?

  22. hello, well.. ive bought the car in need of being put together.. The engine runs.. but im not getting a tacho signal.. well. not consistantly. When i first started it up.. the signal was reading 2-3oo rpm.. and when it sounded like it was around 3-4ooorpm.. the tacho only read 15oo.. since then.. i have had no reading.. but today.. turning the ignition on. the tacho spun to 8k.. not even with the engine running. Then once it ran for a few seconds.. it dropped back to zero and stayed their.. Any ideas on my problem? it has a gt coil.. a resistor.. and i have no idea how to tell if it has plugs or electronic dizzy thingy.. its a 75 2+2,, that has an auto to manual conversion. thanks.

Well.. my car had an auto to manual conversion.. 5 speed box of sorts.. and i can see the cable is connected the the box.. and im only assuming its connected to the gauge. do they run inside and outside cables? Im thinking maybe the internal has broke? Would it still give a reading if the auto speedo drive wasnt switched over? Thanks.
  24. sorry guys,, im going ot have to give this one a miss.. im just too darned tired. was a tthe hospital yesterday till late after driving a truck all day long.. the tiredness has caught up with me.
