Chin up Matt, You have come this far and the end result is going to be better than anything else. Not to mention the personal rewards you will get when you look back on what you have achieved. Keep at it mate, Mine took four years to get rego and saved my life on the way. 8)

Hey Gareth, work done by HardySpicer cost $250.00 new h/d unis and balanced with new boots. Had to use Toyota boots as Datsun no longer available. They also did tail shaft when I fitted the new gear box.

Spent the last two Saturday's trying to fit the headlight covers and have finally got them on ready for the Christmas run and BBQ. What a mission. Looks good anyway If not perfect.

OMG I have slipped down to page three. Now I have finished my project LOL I have just been enjoying the drive. I have finally got my recon diff, after much searching for the front bearing and have reconed the half sharfts. Now all there is to do is fit them. I recieved the front tower brace, Thanks Stivva and with a few minor adjustments it looks the part. Had to forward mount it to clear the Holly then lower it to clear the bonnet but all is good. Can't wait for the Christmas run to test it out. Na, will take it out tomorrow for a drive.

Good to see all OK. Happened to me once years ago when I owned a butcher shop. Had to throw all the meat out in the display window [no window left] in case people got arcenick.

Just thought it would be easier for all to find. Don't make it difficult. Many car clubs meet there on Sunday morning for runs and it is not far from Taylor's place.

May I suggest the starting place be the car park at Fitzy's Loganholme. Easy to find and a good start for a run up Tamborine and back to my place. A good central place for north, south, east, west and GC people to meet and end up.

What luck. Cleaned out the shed last weekend and can get at the pool table. Heaps of room for Z's or what ever. Now we need the numbers and get organised. Shaun you are the man so If my place is locked in for the bbq I will get meat at a good price and BYO the rest. Throw it all on the table and enjoy.

Did you fix up your mo bar rubbers as last pics I saw you had both on the bottom instead of one top and bottom as they should be. Just a thought. -

Just pore heaps of por 15 on it and that should do the trick. Just my thoughts. Thats what I would do.

Hi Guys, To help with your Christmas party/drive decisions here are the dates that I/my place is available. Sunday 27-11-11 " 11-12-11 These are the only two days open to me for a Sunday drive and BBQ at my place untill after Christmas. Hope this helps. Peter "T"

Sorry mate, Didn't check your profile before calling a "Y" You just came over as one in your first words. I too have been burnt by a gearbox shop and now an engine builder. People on this site have helped me a lot as I have tried to help others and I hope you can find a solution to your problems, but I still stand by what I said in regard to the filter. Sorry I can't help with your wiring problem.

Hey mate, You really have to grow up. If you have electrical probs than you take the car to an auto electrican not a mechanic. If your neg cable is not connected wouldn't that ring alarm bells. But I can see by your attitude you really haven't got a clue. Typically of the "Y"generation. as far as the swearing is concerned this is a great site where you don't have to put up with people like you going off at other people about things that you know nothing about. We are all good people that wish to help others but if you swear at us you will be banned.

Great, sounds great. A cruise around the Redlands provide a lot of good roads and from my place is not far. Love the drive up Mt Cotton road through the back roads.
