The Konie reds I have for the front don't have the flat bit on the threads to hold in the strut tops to tighten up the nylox nuts. HTF do you tighten up the nuts. Not game to get the angle grinder to them ATM without some help from all you people that that may know better. :-\

Now I know it's called wheel base. Car is steering great with alignment but need some adj camber things. Where do I get them from to suit a 75 2+2. Thanks.

Get bus like Lynton and me, It is great to go on a run and have two mates with you to share the experince. You will get the same looks from other people of the road in a bus as a two seater.

Just need one of your motors in it to make it go. Have a L28 in the shed and one day will be annoying you how to do it up.

If you want plain colour with no metalic and you do all the rubbing I will give you a hand.

Washed polished and waxed the TEN foot paint job and it come up a treat. Still a ten foot job though.

Hi Peter, took it back for the 800k check and seems to be quieter or maybe I am just use to it. Dicks stuffed around with the mixture screws on the Holly and it was running like a piece of crap but I fixed that when I got it home. Runs a bit rich on my {your} settings , 2 turns out, but I think the only way to fix that is to invest in some smaller jets as Dave has done in W.A. Otherwise it pulls great and seems to have plenty of grunt. Have to fix the throttle cable as well as only getting 3/4 throttle. I am making some new mounts for the cable to get rid of the three right angle turns which should make it a bit lighter on my foot. With new mounts I will have a gentle turn to the left, only down side is it will have be disconnected to remove rocker cover. Not such a great hassel though. Still have to paint the front spoiler but that can wait as I am too busy on weekends driving around. In the Z of course.

Well I have finally got the King springs in front and rear and adj caster rods fitted. The back dropped 1" and the front 1 1/2" even though the springs were 1"drop all round. It looks to be sitting up a bit at the back so will fit the 240 strut tops and that should make for a more level look. That can wait for when I can get new Koni yellow shocks.

Hi, I have just installed 25mm lowered king springs and adj caster rods and was wondering what is the distance from back to front hub measurement as one wheel is further forward than the other with the caster rods at the same length as standard. Need to get it close before taking to experts for alignment to save too much embarrassment. As usual I didn't check before pulling apart. Toe in is looking good but steering wheel is off. Thanks for help in advance. Peter.

That's good news to me as I have been busting my rear end to get get my car ready but would not make it this weekend. Now I will be able to go.

Good call, I have given some members parts and as payment have asked donations be given to this site but have no way of knowing if this has been done on my behalf or not. I have just put my trust in the people concerned and hope they do the right thing. Not an IT person but maybe some sort of register could be set up for this purpose so members can see if in fact the donations have been made.
