  1. I'm interested in this thread also - given the main and air corrector recommendations above - what elumsion tube and idel jets would you use?
  2. Thanks for that - very useful
  3. I've read this thread with much interest - and i'm now in the process of redoing my 'wetlegs' for my 260z. Three questions: 1) did we establish if there is a difference in atf fluid amounts for 260z struts vs. 240z struts? 2) When reloading the atf - does it all get loaded in the 'inner' tube assembly? 3) Is there any 'bleeding' required - if so, what is the recommended way to do this? cheers
  4. Sold to Tim - cheers
  5. LD28 crankshaft for sale. Crankshaft is in NZ, but i travel to Australia most weeks (various states) so happy to bring with me. $AU500 - plus additional shpping costs
  6. We definitly DON'T salt roads in NZ - we do have something called 'rain' however. This has been known to cause the odd bit of rust. There's 2 or 3 pretty nice 240's sitting on trademe at the moment - might be worth a look (www.trademe.co.nz).
  7. May seem obvious - but check your compression as you may have a blown head gasket. I've been through this - pulled everything apart everything fuel and ignition as everybody says if you have fuel and spark it should go. Without compression (blown head gasket) it won't
  8. At the risk of being shot down - can the hilux caliper be run against the standard 260z rotors. Obviously aware of the benefits of vented rotors vs. standard - really just interested in any geometry issues? Thanks
  9. Took the sunroof apart, retightened all the screws and it now seems to seal real well. Thanks for the help
  10. Actually don't mind having a sunroof - so removing it at this stage wasn't on the cards. Thanks for the advise on the latch Rev - I'll have a look at
  11. Have a really badly leaking poptop sunroof in my 260 2+2 Interesting - the rubber condition looks ok. Does anyone know the procedure to fix this?
  12. Have two sets of springs - a blue set at approx 300mm, and a black set 320mm so looks like both are lower than standard. Thanks for your help
  13. thanks for that - so the 260 2+2 front and rear springs are the same length?
  14. bueller... bueller....
  15. Just recently acquired another set of springs for my 260 2+2 - and was told that they are an aftermarket setup which is highly likely. However - just to confirm, can anyone tell me what the unsprung spring length is for a standard 260 2+2 setup, so i can measure against the new springs i have. Is there any other way of telling if they are an after market/performance set?
  16. Still for sale: L24 rods and KA24 pistons Make me an offer!
  17. Hi Mike Sold the crank to DevilZ - he got in first Maybe give Gav240z a PM and do a deal on your one I'm on the shore - but get around Auckland a fair bit (and NZ) - if you need me to drop off the crank anyway - happy to do so cheers Kerry C
  18. Both the Head Gasket and LD28 Crankshaft are now sold Pistons and Rods are still available Thanks
  19. $AU200 and i'll withdraw the auction from trademe site
  20. Here's a plan - buy both LD28 cranks, ship them in the container, keep one and put the other on ebay. You'll make money given the cost and exchange rate and have a free LD28 crank!
  21. You can actually get ZX doors with manual regulators - alot lighter than the power window setup Not sure of their availability in the Australian market - but you could try trademe.co.nz - they generally have lots of zx's being parted out, so shouldn't be too hard to source
  22. Even better - more than happy to drop off to container
  23. will find out the cost to ship Dependant on your timing requirements - i will likely be in Melbourne around the middle of march on business (funnily enough - the Grand Prix is on at the same time). Anyway - might be able to bring it over with me.
  24. Have listed a set of L31 stroker parts listed on trademe that may be on interest. Parts are in Auckland, New Zealand - happy to ship. Beware crankshaft is pretty heavy! Current exchange rates might make these parts very attractive in Australia. Got to pay for those new Rota RB-R's somehow!
