    Selling my set of triple 48 Italian webers. They come on a matching Tomei Japanese performance manifold with linkages. Very good condition. I will not be using on any future project at this stage. $3000-

    That was my datsun 2000 and I expected Hung to grip up and head inside a bit, I stayed on the grass and came back on luckily. Scary just the same as you know there are cars behind as well.

    240Z Steel Wheels

    Would like to find some steel wheels for my Z so I can fit the original hub caps. Is there anything readily available to suit in 14 x 5.5 or 14 x 6. I have a set of roadster 14 x 4.5 but I have been quoted $200- per wheel to fit new outer rims. I tried skyline rims but the offset is to large, Thanks.

    Would anyone in Melbourne area have a right hand front chassis rail from a 240z or 260z for an accident repair. Thanks. John 0408396773

    Yes Tom. Would like to think there was a steering failure, last corner, last lap, last event. Tyres came off rim, bent back and pushed rail in bending caster arm. Will pull out ok and car will get that respray. I will try and attach photo.

    sold on Gumtree I believe for $22,000- from Qld just recently and straight back on in Vic. looks the goods though.

    Looks like a resistor for multi speed fan. Usually fits into air intake of heater box where fan motor is a single wire unit.

    Look up Z Car Depot in US or US Ebay for 240z fly wheel. approx $330- plus $90- us dollars posted for a light weight machined one in the correct steel. Cheaper than local purchase by a long way.

    Look for another car. If the internal condensation has created that much rust, there will be more as the bodies were not rust proofed when built. They are around in much better condition and repairing this, although possible would not be cost effective. Consider parting this one out as a way of maximizing the purchase of a better one. Cheers

    Go to CAMS web site- press on 'Get Involved" press on 'events calender' and then fill in dark blanks and you will get all you need.

    Get onto Cams web site and look at their calender. lists all events inc PI. Also lists which clubs are running them etc.

    I believe it was the one for sale in Wagga late last year when the owner was asking $6000- "the mature man". I had a look and the stories did not make sense, he had been tinkering with it for years, seats were ratty and all worn/torn. There had been respraying and all sorts of excuses why engine could not be started. I had a look on my way through Wagga early December, maybe a $3000- to $4000- car. Is straight though and a good project. Strange he is reselling so fast.

    Sorry guys, get over it, I've blown a few- Lens style are the bast option for track work, and mine is a Lindsay Drife one.
