  1. Stivva at that price I am definately interested , I have 40 mm spacers on the back and 25mm spacers on the front to help fill out my wide body guards , these type of rims would eliminate those.Perhaps 15 in. rims might also make racing tyres more affordable ,might even be able to find good second hand slicks to fit at a reasonable price .Please keep me informed about getting a set or two, if that is not to much trouble
  2. I should have also asked about the cost of a set, including frieght, what sort of dollars would I be looking at , thanks Stiva
  3. If u can find 12 inch wide rims I would be interested in a set, what diameter are they Stiva.

I will try to contact him .Just been on the phone to Alpha motor sport so your timing is impecable.I live only 16 km from the Hume so this could work in brilliantly.

    MSCA PI sprint.

Loved the pi track Pity the tyre wall fell in luv with my car Instant attraction on the bloody warmup lap.Slicks, wet track and torque equals damage, I will elaborate more once we get home. I did manage to complete a couple of laps without any front aero , 1 min 56.87 sec then topped of a great day ( sarcasm ) by flat spotting a front tyre.....to quote Ned Kelly "such is life " ...lol

    MSCA PI sprint.

G' day Gordo ,we are intending to go.Never raced there so am looking forward to it. Caught up with Peter Mac at Winton last Sunday , great to finally meet him and be able to put a face to a voice. I am trying to get around to placing a front splitter on the Z, they tell me down force at PI is pretty important. By the way there were 6 zeds at Winton ,how good is that. Catch u down there
  9. So Simon , how long did the previous 4 FAIRIE parties for you go, enough said I reckon
  10. Sounds like the weather was as ordinary at Sandown as in the north of the state. I must admit i am a little dissapointed in missing the event, but We had an amazing day here in the country . I decided with my wife that a celerbration day should be had after a unusual turn of events health wise. All is OK for now, u butey. We decided to have a wake at the Thoona pub , I would recommend this feed to anyone. Unbeknown to me Deb had arranged a coffin cake and read out my eulogy with photos of my life , I know it sounds a bit sick , but it was bloody funny especially when a mate gave me a gift from everyone, upon opening the eskie I found a sheeps lung on ice . Pity it was from a sheep that had died 3 days earlier, because the stench that infiltrated the restaurant was horrible to say the least I hope everyones day a Sandown was as good as mine ...lol
  11. Must have been rather large as we felt it 14kms north of Benalla NE VIC
  12. I definately won't be a starter at sandown, worse luck. The 2 clots in my leg are still a concern as they can shift with jarring for the next 6 weeks, so gonna play it safe and wait till Phillip Island Can't even have a hit of the dangerous sport of table tennis....lol Have fun and keep the noise down, decibel 75 limit. There are people mowing their lawns on Sundays so shush .
  13. Well ,I had full intentions of entering this event but am undecided at this stage . Life decided to throw me a curve ball. To make a long story short . Step 1 - charged by a full grown ewe ,she smashed into my right knee, back in March. Step 2 - Knee bled and swelled heaps , jump on tractors to sow wheat and canola in April , still with swollen knee Step 3- return to playing table tennis after 5 year break in last week of May Stage 4 -cough up blood the next morn , see doctors , have a CT scan . Go home then within 25 mins told to get to casulty ASAP Stage 5 - Apparently blood in lungs not conducive to good health Stage 6 - Next week in hospital taking rat poison to thin blood and stop further clot movements I gather the above scenario is Like flying to London and getting Deep vein thrombosis So I might have to play it safe and get stablised, and live to play another day...Time and doctors will tell me I suppose. If I don't make it have a top day.
  14. ash , can u workout what class we are actually in.Each round I seem to be in a different class against all sorts of cars .On Sunday we were up against a Mitsu. Magna which looked pretty stock, number 95. So far I have been in class R, M and a group called 'clubman carsover 1999cc, cars on slicks and nominated cars' Also, how do we know our standings as the year progresses, is there a MSCA site which informs us of our positions and class. I only found out on Sunday, after talking to Karen from NDSOC, that points scored thoughout the year go towards the NDSOC motorsport awards. Bugggered if I can workout their system, if it is the fastest time on the day, then why ,when we competed at SAndown it became the average of the fastest two laps . I feel like Sargent Shultz from Hogans Heroes ...."I know Nothhhiiiiing "
  15. Another tremendous day at my home track. Was really pleased with my last session. My last 5 laps were really consistent, within 0.6 sec . I still seem to do my best times with a full tank of fuel, I wish I new more about car setups. Introduced myself to Ash ,but worse luck his day ended badly, I'm pretty sure due to someone else making a driving error, so didn't get to have a good yarn like I wanted. It's amazing how I can combine racing with my farming , 4 times I went onto the dirt/grass just to checkout soil conditions before i started sowing canola the next day...lol
  16. well done Sinisha with a PB I'm still to arrange a front air dam extension and try out a rear wing , but intend to get off the tractor and race at Winton on 29th april.I am starting to think that I probably don't need them if I've only got 250 rwkw compared to what you have in your beautifily set up z. Definately a credit to you, a fast credit at that, congrats again. I will be watching for further aero improvements or tweaks by you . ALSO My z has been transformed from the chicken coup exhaust [ 18 inches of chicken coup wire up each pipe , Sandown noise black flag ] to a 3inch rear exit with crossover, hopefully this will satisfy the noise police.Might perform a bit better as well, without the restriction.
  17. dimitri what size tyres/rims
  18. Sunday 29 April 2012 MSCA event at Winton, any others going to have a crack at taming this track ?
  19. What dollars would u be looking at Tim ?
  20. Simon , your dyslexia is only surpassed by your primal beastality urges. That is also the reason that when u visit we will never take you near a mob of sheep again , they got way to nervous to muster after you endeavoured to catch the pretty ones all day, last time. You are the master , light master . But can u give me an idea of pricing on a f/g rear hatch
  21. The world surely is a complex animal, after checking out a mob of sheep today i spotted the rear end of a z outside a shed that I have passed on many occasions.Went straight in and was allowed to check it out , the only really salvageable part was the rear hatch and it was covered in lichen/moss , most of the panels were damaged and the car had been stripped of nearly everthing else. It was a 2 seater made in 3/73. How much are the f/g hatches, complete cost including i.e. perspex, etc. please
  22. nowhere near as fast as sinishas , his rb 25 or 26 turbo was 7 secs a lap faster at sandown recently.
  23. depends on whether you've indulged in the upsized mcfatty meal or the standard. My 240 with ls1 weighs approx. 1240kg with me and has 335 hp [250kw] at rear wheels
  24. Staying at best western, was put off by the wording of one establishment, apparently they are " gay friendly " , I was really confused by this .Do they mean they are gay and friendly or happy and friendly or tolerate gays or are themselves gay and friendly or themselves friendly towards gays that are happy, got way to confusing for me so went somewhere else. Gee I hope "best western" isn't code for "brokeback mountain",it was a western . Personally I don't give a hoot if u r gay or not as long as your happy ,as they say on seinfeld about being gay " NOT THAT THERE"S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT " Ron just recieved your offer while I was typing ,we have already booked but would love to catchup, we are intending to stay for a extra day atleast. If you go to the meet perhaps afterwards we could throw some green prawns onto the motel BBQ and down a beer or two
  25. Just been emailed that I have to get a CAMS , an extra $95 , licence to compete even tho I have a AASA licence . It amazes me that you need two [ 2 ] race licences to be able to participate at all events, when I only need one Vic. car licence to travel all over Aust to get to these events. And I bet the driving licence is cheaper, given that a car licence is for 5 or 10 [?] years So whats the go?
