  1. Last week for anything attached to the shell still - after this week she goes to the great car cemetery in the sky! Larger parts will still be available afterwards for a while until I find I need the space... NO SHIPPING ON LARGE/HEAVY ITEMS SORRY!!! For the sake of making $50 it's not worth my while organising packaging, trying to find a way to weigh something like an engine, etc to get a freight quote, waiting at home for a courier to pick up, etc. \ I'm happy to deliver within Melbourne however for $25, or $50 if the item requires a trailer. Perhaps some prices might help spur people on - I know a lot of people feel uncomfortable making offers... Engine as pictured: $75 ONO Extractors, rusty but usable: $75 ONO Auto trans: $40 Rear suspension (struts, arms, etc) $50 Very crappy seats (good only for the frames if you intended to recover them) $50 Suggested prices only - Willing to negotiate!!!
  2. Given these are now sold - I have a set for sale too if anyone is interested! Same condition - PM me if interested. Say $75 ONO...
  3. Cheers mate, will certainly go to the local pick-a-part if this turns up nothing - thought I'd start off asking here so I was sure to get one that matched the one I have on the other side (helps with my OCD and all :-P ). No doubt I'll find two the same though (with zed-type double flares and M10x1.0 nuts) if I look hard enough. In the meantime if anyone has a zed one let me know
  4. Chasing the t-piece that's usually bolted under the rear of the car, just in front of the rear axle line (under the rear seat area on a 2+2). Pic attached. As I'm using it to adapt Volvo 240 front calipers to my s30, it'd be great if someone could sell me one with the hard lines that run over to each rear wheel included - or if the lines have been cut, at least roughly 8 inches / 20cm or so of the remaining lines (so I can add the different flare to suit the volvo calipers to the other ends). Offering $10 (based on new generic ones costing about that much on ebay - only I prefer the zed type so it matches the one I have) + postage (or happy to pic up if you're in Melbourne). Cheers, Daniel
  5. Replied to your PM Spare wheel well was terrible sorry... though it does provide a nice view of the road underneath :-P (Massive rust holes)
  6. Some pics of the pedal/linkages, etc for Magnet...
  7. Larger bits still for sale! Engine, extractors, trans, rear suspension, etc. Make an offer! TBH I'm not looking for much... just trying to make back what it cost me to cart this thing home!!
  8. And the glovebox inner (sorry couldn't figure out how to attach pics in the PM section!)
  9. Looks like there's only the car half of the globe harness there... which if I'm correct (?) is not the half you were chasing? I had a look through the bit stuffed inside the car and despite finding some smashed lenses, I couldn't find the globe holders/pig tail loom... sorry. Lots of bits were removed from this car before I got it and hence I have no idea what's come of them.
  10. Hey EvilZ, no problems... Ironically it's now taken me a couple of days to get back to you! Been a pretty busy week sorry. They are there from memory - give me a couple of days to get out there and check it out - see if they're in decent condition, etc. Will get back to you.
  11. Cracker I just noticed you're in Adelaide - here's some pics. I'll check it out in more detail on the weekend (to make sure it's ok) and try to work out how much the postage would be if you're still interested. Rest of the dash is completely buggered.
  12. Thanks for the interest guys. Unfortunately the car is in really bad shape and lots of bits were missing or stuffed before I even got it. To answer qns: - Turns signals are missing sorry (all exterior lights are missing). The wiring to the fronts should be all there (free if you want it) but the rear looks to have been cut) - Glovebox inner seems to be ok - all yours for free (just cover postage if you need it) - Most of the interior is either gone, stuffed or torn... doubt anything could be salvaged but feel free to come round and take a look (free if you find anything useful!) Pics to follow to give everyone a better idea of how bad we're talking (and to avoid too much more disappointment!)
  13. Oh and small bits are free if you come and get them (mill park vic)
  14. ... and some other bits available... ask for what you're after. Not much else is good as the car is very stuffed and rusty. And I've taken front suspension and seat belts. No idea what the engine or trans is like... may be good, may be stuffed. Hence low offers will be considered as I cant guarantee anything about the functionality of any parts. Extractors rusty but seem quite usable. PM offers... no idea what the going rates are. Will try to post pics in the coming few days.
  15. I may well be interested - only have the two I got from Dimitri atm (they've arrived safe - thanks! Haven't tried to fit them yet) and I'll need another two given I'll prob just get the cash back from aust post (if they ever respond to my claim!). Plus if you've used them already on a zed at least I know they'll fit!
  16. Yikes! I'll pass at that price! I wonder how much they'd be if I called nissan and just quoted that number....
  17. Sold... will PM my address... reply with bank details (or however you want me to cough up! ) and we'll go from there. Thanks again!!!
  18. ... And when I finally got the package, it was torn open and empty. So the saga continues as i raise a dispute with Aust Post, etc. Dimitri let me know if I can still have yours, how much you want, etc. Ideally i'll ask if you could post them (at my expense) as I'll struggle to get to your area given how much I've got on atm.
  19. Cheers guys, much appreciated. Still waiting on my ebay delivery from dandenong would you believe! The seller shipped straight away but they've been in the back of an Australia Post van (issued from a post office 5 mins from my house) for over a week and a half! Seems the driver forgot to deliver them. Had to open a case for them to look into it, etc. Pain in the proverbial!
  20. Interesting re. the colour dots. Good to know at least that I have a factory set to reference in terms of length, etc. In terms of whether the kings lows would lower mine - there is something I could do to get an idea - if you (or someone on here) could provide... rough measurements of - The coil wire diameter - Coil diameter - No of coils (inc the squared off end coils) - Free length ...I could calculate the rate. Then, in theory, if the rate is similar to my stock springs, but the length is shorter, they should in theory lower my car. As for captive, the sectioned struts should help in that respect. I'm willing go out and buy a set of lows off ebay, etc but obviously running the spring calc over them first would help justify the purchase given your experiences. Theoretically going by the rate King advertise (175lbs), adn the shorter length you mention (280mm??) they should lower mine, as my stock springs worked out to ~190lbs on the calculator and are around 330mm long). Perhaps the 2+2's are a lot heavier... That's be awesome if you could send through the scanned pages... will PM you my email address as soon as I post this No probs re. the dust boots, still haven't received them but will let you know as soon as I have them. Gareth have you any info or thoughts re. our differing Z31 shock lengths? Wish I'd got some as short as yours now as I could have sectioned more out of the front struts and opened up my spring options a lot!
  21. **Bump** Still chasing some low springs for my 260z, open to suggestions when it comes to brand, etc. Even better if you can vouch for them actually lowering a 260z 2+2 and generally fitting well (non captive should be ok though as I have slightly shorter sectioned struts). I only know the King springs references for 260z lows, in case these help: KDFL-04 260Z Front KDRS-09 Low 260z Rear
  22. Thanks Scoota - and sorry for the very late reply! I may not need it anymore as I just bought a spare set of rear suspension (arms, struts, etc) off ebay and will pick it up over the weekend. Unless all 4 of those washers are missing from it then I should be right - but big thank you nonetheless. Geees i wish I'd bought or taken that shell now! Considering I just paid $50 just for rear suspension, and I need a right-rear quarter (unless that was the damaged one of course...). Buying a spare set of suspension as I'm section the struts on mine and like having the option to revert back to stock if I need to for whatever reason.
