nissansilvia.com always have used ones coming up for sale. I believe the rear just bolts in but you will have to make the front work. Most of the japanese brands eg. HKS, TEIn can be rebuilt. I have heard good things about these coilovers http://nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=510090 Fairly Cheap for the functionality you get.

What im getting at is from the get go people could have been more gracious that includes EVERYONE that had something negative to say about his idea!! This forum used to embrace new people and ideas and im not surprised when people come back with responses like that!!

but its his car he can do what he likes!! some will say l-series are lame and you should put a v8 in... each to there own!! I don think calling him a moron is going to help anything!!

sorry fellows but gotta say im kinda with Z8253 on this one!! he asked for help and everyone just shot him down saying his ideas were rubbish... just about everyone here is a backyard mechanic so show some grace!!

no not the nardi... im not doing it just thought about it in the past!!. I had a "personal" brand boss in the past and it was solid aluminium so i thought it would be ok to cut it and tap...

please correct me if im wrong but is there any reason why you cant cut a boss adapter to make it short?? sure you may have to drill and tap the holes deeper??
