    Thanks guys. Sorry to thread hijack. Ta22 was restored about 5 years ago. Is a very clean car but paint is showing wear in a few spots. Havent worked out how to upload pictures yet with only phone

    Have a few ta22 and 1 ta23. Awesome cars and very quickly increasing in value. But now looking to swap them for a 240z or 260z 2 seater.

    hey. one of the first parts am looking for is a metal passenger side front gaurd. a little rust is ok but not a complete basket case please. also need that cone part at the end in metal for both sides (can someone educate me its correct name) thanks everyone

    Are there any differences between panels within the 240 range. ? I'm in need of a new front gaurd and want to make sure I get it right. I am constantly seeing people with old ta22 celicas with the wrong front guards as they changed them Mid model within the ta22 range.

    Had these on my celica and yes the view is great. They are also sprung based so makes them more friendly when running over the odd pedestrian. Mine were bought from toyhead auto some years ago but were still expensive. Since they are still available from a few sources I would think Toyota Japan still have them so may be better cutting out the middle man. Oh and these are painted silver not chrome as I think someone mentioned.

    I had original Toyota fender mirrors on my celica and although it took a little to get used too, I think you get a better/larger field of view with the fender mirrors.

    Am currently rebuilding a 73 240z and was wondering has anyone compiled a list of all the parts that are interchangeable between the 240 and 260 even the 2+2 for those new to the scene. Also is there a list available for what was changed mechanically and cosmetically for each years production. Am trying to get some much needed knowledge of these cars so any help would be great. Thanks.

    Hey all. Have just bought a 73 240z rolling shell as a project so will be needing lots of advice and help finding parts etc. Am new to Datsun ownership as have always had toyotas in the past and current (3x ta22 celica) Would love to meet up with some Sydney 240/260 owners some time to get to know these cars better.
