Hi PandaZ I'm sorry to hear you'll miss out , we are always happy to have extras and new Zed owners show up. I'll be certain to take plenty of pictures of the event and post them back here as soon as possible. FWIW I've spent all this week on my Z everynight after work finishing about 1pm just to get my suspension sorted out. I started to feel tired today but now feeling charged for the cruise.

can you upload pictures of the car into our gallery? I'd love to see them. I didn't even know of the event unfortuantely. perhaps next year :twisted: .

I didn't have much luck with getting them off myself. What I have been doing is 1 corner at a time after work. My mum has been great taking each strut down to Pedders and they have been undoing them for me. Good thing I've had like 12 upper nuts to choose from since the Koni's and Tokico's are slightly different length's and require different nuts. The ones I got off you Ben were for a 260z and therefore slightly larger diammeter. Just thought I'd mention for future reference for anybody else who might come across this thread. I'm up to the last corner and since I've been using the circular gland nuts again I am using a pin punch to tighten them up. Tonight all going well I'll be finishing installing the struts can't wait to drive it. I was hoping to get the rear bushes replaced at the same time but I have to wait for them on order which takes 2 weeks. Oh well at least I'll eventually get them done I guess. Oh one other thing i forgot to mention was that Costa lent me his tool for the Gland nuts and I managed to bend it like a banana. Goes to show how tight they were on. :roll:

Hey guys you can see my progress with the suspension in my the photo gallery just click on latest uploads. I also took some shots of the car with my new digital camera just to see the quality. I've dropped the quality though obviously for uploading the images to the site. I orginally wanted to take photos and create a tutorial or how-to for strut replacement but due to time constraints and wanting to get the car ready by Friday I've had to drop that idea. Oh well next time.
