  1. Hey guys, I bit the bullet and finally decided I wanted a set of Triple Mikuni's for my 240z. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8023486080&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 They come with the intake manifold I'll be sure to post more pics when they arrive. There goes my shopping budget for boxing day
  2. Merry Xmas and a happy new year everyone.
  3. Hi guys, a set of Simmons F15s on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nissan-Datsun-Toyota-Simmons-mag-alloy-wheels-F15_W0QQitemZ8022907264QQcategoryZ6782QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem They are the correct PCD but not sure on offset.
  4. It was a funny movie alright lol.. gotta love the Japanese fill in music. I love the tripple webers and turbo combo what a beast lol.
  5. Hey mate not sure myself I'd have to see them mounted. I guess it depends on the look your going for but I prefer the fender/bullet mirrors myself more period authentic but I guess your wheels are more modern so it might work. I've seen this style on a Honda S2000 and liked them but not sure about a Z.
  6. I agree with Lambs there are places that can redo the interior based on samples like Auto reupholsterers but the best thing to do is save some cash and get it from the US. Ebay is often a good source but as Warren said www.datsunrestore.com I'm considering making my interior all white.
  7. Hi Evan are you sure you need those lights in your Z check this out http://forums.hybridz.org/vbgarage.php?do=view&id=8511
  8. If your Zed has the orginal diff I'd say it's an R200. The R200 from the outside looks a little fatter than the R180 but you can't really tell other than that unless you pull the rear cover off. Someone else might know a better way of telling the difference.
  9. I want to download this but having trouble with my d/l manager at the moment. I'm wondering what codec it uses?
  10. I agree with Mr Datto above, lots of work here. I can't tell for sure but it looks like it had/has a sunroof. That alone is alot of work to replace with a solid roof. I'd offer $500 at the most, especially since most of the good parts look to have been picked off. Ebay however has been finding buyers willing to pay way more.
  11. Hi Jim, It is a good idea however I don't want people to feel like they have to give out all their information and I'd like international people to feel free to sign up here since they can be a good resource for certain parts and information regarding specific model of S30. I do want to have an image verification system so that we don't get spammed by online casino's again(WANKERS) they are . I might look into a way of requiring certain information to help the site and it's members with indentifying those closeby to them.
  12. Hey guys can anyone tell me what a series 1 280zx manual is likely to have for a diff ratio? I'm pretty sure it was a series 1 280zx Manual because it still had the universal joints in the back. I'd like to get a 3.9 or a 4.11 for my Z .
  13. There is a place in Richmond that specialise in SU's but I don't recall their website. Certainly they would have to have something but then again I wouldn't be suprised if they didn't. There is also a carbie place near where I live that I guess might have it but again I doubt as they seem to be more interested in british cars.
  14. Hi Chris, Unfortunately I can't help much since my PO has created a custom set up for some odd reason. So I'm in a similar boat to you, you can try a wrecking yard but 240z parts are getting difficult to source since not many wrecked 240z's are left. Ebay is a place you could try stalking for a while. You might be able to post an add on ozdat.com or I'd try www.ztherapy.com they reco twin SU's and might have a spare they could sell you. Best of luck and let me know how you go.
  15. Hey Lurch I should be there, I'll let you know if something comes up though.
  16. To find the ratio of a differential you need to take the cover off look at the crown wheel(The large wheel with teeth). Then then take a look at the pinion which also has a set of teeth but is the small part. Now you can count the teeth on each or you should be able to find a number in the format for example 37:9 if you find this number it's a simple task of dividing the numbers by each other 37/9 = 4.11111111 or 4.11. I hope this helps since I didn't know this till I read it on an item for sale on ebay.
