Mikelly Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Found your site while researching DrySumps for my own little project. Details on the build are PAGES deep, so I'll just refer you guys to the hybridZ members projects build thread I have there. It's a V8Zcar weighing about 2600 pounds now with a balance of of 48.5F/51.5R and pushing about 450BHP and 480# torque! Mike Quote
dat240z Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Welcome. Your car looks tough. If it was matt black it'd be like a darth vader z. I like it. Fins on roof different but cool and rims are great Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted January 14, 2013 Moderators Posted January 14, 2013 Welcome.. Love the wheels and the colour scheme... Quote
Mikelly Posted January 15, 2013 Author Posted January 15, 2013 Here's a link to the build page. http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/63250-mike-kellys-zcar-project/ Every aerodynamic "accessory" was tested when we did extensive wind tunnel testing in 2007. I wrote a magazine article for Nissan Sport/Sport Z magazine in 2007 after we conducted the 31 tests on 4 different cars and multiple configurations. Quite simply, if it isn't functional, it isn't on the car. Enjoy! Mike Quote
Riceburner Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Welcome Mike, do you know what issue number the magazine was? Sounds like a very informative read! Quote
Sirpent Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Welcome Mike And also a hello to Evil, dont think I have come across your profile before. Great to see you guys come across our side of the pond Next stop, your Hybrid build page, I was only looking at the tunnel tests on there a week or so ago. Cheers John Quote
Mikelly Posted January 15, 2013 Author Posted January 15, 2013 Being that Nissan Sport just shut their doors and is being bought by GrassRoots Motorsports, I can't tell you, as I just found this out... http://www.nissansportmag.com/ I want to say it was either winter 2007 or spring issue 2008.
