Nah mate I don't drink much. A carton of beer would last me a year. Caffene is my drug of choice. Maybe you might have some zed parts you don't need. If not give me a six pack of mother.

Alan I take it that means you give them your wheel and they recover it? Is the leather recovering close to the original finish as mine is fried as well :( Do you have any pics? Could it also be re-done in the original material? (Foam/vinyl?) Cheers

G'day Alex?, checked out the full info re :address etc. The cmpny name is King's trim Emu Plains NSW. Dave King is is the guys name who runs it ,very professional with his work but a good bloke none the less . Contact him on Mob 0414413236 for further details & yes you need to take your old wheel in ,mine was pretty crappy when I gave it to him so they re filled the body & covered over that. Stitching is spot on. Well worth the cost. Will try & post some pic's ASAP. Might get it a bit cheaper uf you tell him Alan Stanton recommended him. HaHa.

Spoke to Dave King today who informed me he is no longer in the game, however he gave me the guys name & mob# who does them. His name is Michael mob# 0412509410 ,spoke with him this arvo & asked for price which he said would be around the $280/300 mark. However he said that if at least four were sent to be done he would chrge $260 & if six or more would reduce this to $250. Also said that he re covers dashes amongst other things. He is situated in Penrith NSW. I'm happy to assist with getting S/wheels to him if anyone wants to get involved but would prefer that any financial transactions would be directly involved with him. Balls in your court fella's.

Well Thanks all for your assistance but i guess by the response good 260 wheels are hard to come buy.

I will grab Micks one for the hefty cost of a 6 pack of mothers and send it

to a guy in Adelaide that has recovered leather wheels for us and does a great job.

Thanks Alan for the info on the guy in Penrith. Does anyone know if the original construction of the wheels can be replicated or would this be too difficult? I imagine that leather would look quite a bit different from the original finish. Chasing one in the US may be an option too would it not? Just trying to get as close to factory as possible.

Cheers.

G'day Alex, the leather is different to the original it is softer & has a crushed look plus stitching is more obvious but very neat. Will put some pics up this arvo.

                                                              Regards: Alan.
