240Z Heater Hoses and Tap

Going to dredge this subject up again....NLA Nissan and no one (I can find) does aftermarket RHD versions.

 

Seems the yanks (MSA) have hoses available but from the pics they are different to ours, they also have Taps but I cant tell if they are the same as ours.

 

Can anyone provide alternatives for hoses and taps apart from the good old fall back of trying to match something up at Repco/Bursons?

I did one recently for a friend. He supplied the tap (i think from MSA) and i cut up some moulded heater hoses from Super-cheap to match the bends.

I bought my tap from MSA and it matched my car, admittedly it was a 280Z part to suit my '75 260Z but I can't see why the heater core, hoses and tap assembly would be any different from LHD to RHD as the HVAC controls, location of the heater core and the hoses are all in the same positions.

Have just installed the tap and three hoses on my 71 240Z.  All were purchased from MSA. 

 

All fit perfectly (after some grazed knuckles trying to get them on with the heater core in place)

I have heard that a Ford Falcon tap can be used which was a good mod because it moved the tap to the other side of the firewall. Hence removing the risk of hot dripping water on the feet when it eventually wears out. Sorry I don't have any more detail.
