dat2kman Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 1966 Datsun Roadster some interior and exterior parts, did have. a R16 with H20 internals and four speed, car is a full roller with front and rear suspension. Intention was to fit a SR20DET and five speed, along with a cut down disc braked Skyline Wagon axle, and four piston big brake upgrade, all of which is also available at additional cost. Engine/box/loom/ECU, and ancilliaries are from a S2 S14 Sylvia. It was to be a "sleeper" ie, outwardly, no indication as to what is lurking under the bonnet! Engine bay and firewall has been prepped for fitment, has had a dummy mock up motor and block fitted, requires engine mounts and box mounts fabricated. Sell rolling '66 Roadster at $5000, and if you want rest, another $6k, not fussed as all that can be sold off pretty quickly Located Brisbane Quote

In Sydney for work, back Tuesday, then off to EC on Thurs, for historic meet, back monday arvo! I can take digi pics, i can get them sucked out f digi camera onto ipad, but cannot suck out of ipad onto here. Someone said upload/download this app, that app, looked into it, eyes glazed over, brain started to hurt, went back out to shed, sucked in three big lunfgulls of avgas, all better now. Quote

Cleaning up the new disc braked R31 wagon axle housing ready for shortening has been most recent. Have thrown the SR 20 dummy engine and box into it, contemplating engine mounts, and chalking up gearbox mount arrangement. Why you ask Ron? Quote

dat2kman Posted May 9, 2013 Author Posted May 9, 2013 Well, yes, mine is for sale. Can come with pretty much everything needed to finish it off as a SR 20det engined/g.box and disc braked rear. Seats, suspension and big brake brake package, interior linings, yes it has a bonnet. Will need some fabrication for motor mounts, gearbox mount, a fuel tank replicated ( old one rusted) Or as a rolling shell, you do your own thing. But as a "sleeper" with modern engine and old school looks, it'd get plenty of "wtf's" ! Send that lad of your up with Sher and the kids, for a holday, with car trailer, he can stay with us for few days, and cart the lot back for you! Quote
