stevofoxono Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 I'm a massive macgyver fan. stories are all warm and fuzzy and what he comes up with is pretty awesome. This arvo when i got back from working on the Z my hands were covered with grease and normal soap is pretty useless so i grabbed some dish washing liquid and laundry powder and rubbed it on my hands and they're clean enough to eat off lol. Thought it'd be pretty interesting finding out if anyone has some unusual ways of doing stuff (car related or not) with random house hold items Quote

nizm0zed Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Temporary tatto's come off with roll on suncream. handy when your young fella covers his arms in them a day before a family event. Quote
Six_Shooter Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Another combination that works great as a hand cleaner is dish soap and used coffee grinds. My uncle taught me that one years ago. Un-used coffee grinds don't work, I've tried. Quote

saxon Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 In the office, a really heavy sliding door broke and dropped to the floor, trapping us in the room. Couldn't lift it to move it back cause only one side had a handle and the side not being lifted would drag too much to moved it. I pulled a Macguyver and put pens underneath the door and was able to roll it back enough for us to get out. 10 seconds later the bomb exploded. Quote
