Coolie Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Hi Guys, I have just joined up to leech some knowledge, I bought my 260Z in Melbourne and brought back to Sydney so only fitting I guess. Here's some shots...basically stock except for SU carbs and some updated ignition components Excuse me if I have posted before...I could have sworn I had... Quote
Coolie Posted April 24, 2007 Author Posted April 24, 2007 Please excuse that dodgy shot there...Ill redeem with one more. Quote
Sooley Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Looks in Good nick fellow Sydney member. But it is a 2 + 2 (not a fan myself) Anthony Quote
Toecutter Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Welcome, nice pics! Looks like clean car. Cheers Sulio Quote
Coolie Posted April 24, 2007 Author Posted April 24, 2007 You know I wasnt a huge fan of the 2+2 at first either...loved this one from the start, realised that they need a pin stripe over the hips to give it some definition. Quote
C.A.R. Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Ah, you've mate it onto here finally. We need some more 2+2 owners on this forum... Quote
Sooley Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 I think you should start your own forum. Anthony Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted April 24, 2007 Administrators Posted April 24, 2007 I hope all this 2+2 bashing is friendly. Afterall they are not too dis-similar to the original HS30 shape. I used to own a 2+2 and I know they have potential to look great. It's a shame so many have been left in poor condition. In the US they are quite rare and sought after due to being different to the norm. Welcome aboard, Coolie I love the pinstripe more Zeds should have one it helps to define the line of the Zcar. Quote
Lynton Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Schmick looking 2Plus have you already removed the after market plastic side protection strips? They certainly look better without them Don't worry about the bagging on this forum eventually the 2+2 will take over here then they won't be able to give us any lip hehehehe! Lynton Quote
sco_aus Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 NEVER!!!!! haha, nice looking zed though, i do like the pin stripe, anything to take the attention away from that rear quater area Quote
Coolie Posted April 26, 2007 Author Posted April 26, 2007 The side trim along the car are still there but they are new, I agree that shabby trim can really make a Zed look off. I am on both sides of the teasing, I love them both and will find me a 2 seater as well one day. I find the 2+2 to be just that bit more practical, not to mention feeling like Im IN a car heehee Quote
