RLY240 Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I'm on the lookout for a pair of front guards and these eBay items keep popping up, has anyone bought these and got some feedback on the fit and finish? Especially the fit. Thanks, Roger http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DATSUN-NISSAN-240Z-260Z-FRONT-GUARD-FENDER-BRAND-NEW-/120791370722?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c1fba0be2 Quote
d3c0y Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I bought one of Phil's front bumpers and its pretty good for the money. He does a lot of different panels for all sorts of cars - even complete mustang bodies. Quote
sexual_sushi Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 On a slightly related note, what about these beaver panels? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230692940567&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:AU:1123 Quote
Zedback Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 On a slightly related note, what about these beaver panels? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230692940567&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:AU:1123 Pretty sure I used this one on the '73 project - fit was good, only hassle was drilling the holes on the back edge for the tail light panels and number plate light. Sorry Roger, haven't tried the guards but if you do please share what they're like. Quote
dat2kman Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 he is known as Phils 4 Rotaries, in Lawnton Brisbane, and will sell direct from his shop, if you want to bypass evilbay, and cheaper rates, sometimes too, he gets them stamped in Thailand, does job runs at a time, so sometimes stock supply can be an issue. Always ask first is it available. I get some bit off him for a thing that strats with M and dont have pistons! Quote
