handsandwhich Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 It will be massive effort to keep it in a straight line and finish a lap..I don't think they can time a lap of tyre smoke! But should still be hella fun! Like rollerskating on an ice rink. Quote
Scando Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Looks great Pete, can't wait to see what it punches out. Quote
garvice Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Seems like the only thing that didn't get attention was the intake. Looking good mate. Quote
garvice Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 No, I was being cheeky and talking about the paint job on the black part of the intake. Everything else got a lick of paint. HA. Quote
peter mc Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 that's because it will get polished after the Dyno session i was scared it would get scratched Quote
handsandwhich Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Lucky you weren't working in your jocks (or naked) when you took that pic! Wouldn't blame you with the muggy weather we been having lately. Quote
navanskyine Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 how long did it take u ? to build it ? Quote
peter mc Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 well the build started the first day in October, so its been a very full on 2 months . and i had to put pants on for the pic tom the reflection was a bit rude for the kids out there Quote
Scoota G Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Giggity. giggity! Now get to polishing up that intake pete Quote
KatoKid Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Bit worried about you Tom for picking up on that! Any normal bloke would be too busy trying to figure out how the 6 was made into an 8. Never the less it should be a rocket and your ability to pilot accordingly will restore your manliness! Quote
handsandwhich Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Will be hard to restore any manliness as I'm pretty sure anyone that gets in the car will either be wearing adult diapers or giggling like schoolgirls. The 6 was turned into an 8 by just welding a dab in the open section of the 6, then a die grinder to flatten it out, then buffed back. Quote
peter mc Posted December 18, 2011 Author Posted December 18, 2011 Hi Tom when i got home i got the pipes and intercooler finished Quote
